Guest Houses in Goyang

This was a great hotel for a one night stay after a concert in Goyang. My friends and I used the room well. The staff were very friendly and let us check in early. The room itself was large and very clean. It is in a quiet, residential area but you do have to walk up a bit of a hill to get to the actual hotel/hostel. Overall, it was worth the money for a one-night stay.

The goshiwon is really quiet and clean. And other tenants are also really respectful of the quiet rule. It's easy to come back to the room and relax after a day of walking around. Only thing you might hear is hurried footsteps but all in all, everyone keeps it down. In terms of the room itself, there's a single bed with thick cozy blanket and firm pillow, a small fridge (I did not use), a small fan, hanging closet, and simple organizer. If you're not used to thin mattress, you might not like it. But no one goes to goshiwon for luxury, so~ The weather during my stay mid-May 2025 really helps keep everything cold, so one singular small fan is enough to get air circulation moving and keeping me cool. In terms of separate shower and toilet, I think they're both really clean and well kept. It's easy to navigate. Just make sure you're entering the right stalls. Girls have a separate toilet and shower with "여자“ written in front. In terms of public transport, it's SUPER close to Tanhyun train station and Gyeongnam Honorsville bus station. So whichever your prefered mode of transportation is, it's within walking distance. In terms of finding food, you have a lot of choices. There are convenience stores and restaurants all around the area. The GS25 store at the back is accommodating if you can't speak Korean too well. In terms of the common spaces like the kitchen and unlimited food, I didn't really try them out. But I see other tenants using them and I think if I had to stay longer, I'd definitely cook some rice and ramen myself. Just make sure you separate your trash! There's a guide on the goshiwon door on which trash goes where. For the price, there's really nothing to complain about if you're coming to Tanhyun in May.

The room was warm in the middle of winter and very comfortable. The room was very clean and one of the best we have stayed in while in Korea. Perfect location close to public transport and shops. The hose went above and beyond and was very fast to message is I would definitely stay again.

The guesthouse was lovely and tucked in a quiet area but still an easy walk to the green line (train) and shopping area of Hongdae. The room is very clean and amenities are perfact! There are plugs for charging, face mask, hair dryer, curling iron and coffee/tea. Towels, shampoo, and body wash are also provided. The private bathroom is superb clean and modern. I will choose here again next time!

It’s a small Guesthouse with a lovely owner. The first floor is really nice with a common, dinning room and the kitchen. On the second floor you have the rooms.

Ιt was the most unexpected gift. Clean , convenient, good energy, great bed, and kindness to give personal room since there was free...most owners would pack people in the same room and keep the other rooms closed.i really recommend it.

Staying here felt like staying with a family member! I felt so welcome and Ms. Kim took such good care of me!!! She helped me also with so many little things like printing my train ticket to the next city or sewing my ripped jeans. I will always remember my days here and will definitely come back for my next trip to Korea! Moreover, the house structure is extremely stylish and well taken care of. The room was quite big and I had a nice balcony. It was always very clean and the food was always great! I would recommend this place to anyone who is not that much into clubbing and wants to stay in a quiet area of Seoul.
