This beautiful small hotel is a jewel. The location is wonderful and the property is a mini-botanical garden right next to the one that gives it it's name (dos Cantos). The staff are superb; cheerful and accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful. Fabio and Miriam assisted us in many ways with suggestions for outings, making reservations, helping plan routes and answering any questions we might have. There was staff on-hand 24 hours per day. Both the rooms and the public spaces show off the lovely features of the hotel. We wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending the Solar Dos Cantos to travellers to Ponta Delgada.

Clean, everything was new, they are providing enough amount if towels, the breakfast was big, tasty, a lot if variety, the staff was friendly and gave us suggestions on where to go, the kitchen well equipped and clean, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, they clean your room as many times you ask for.

Fabulous staff that are as welcoming as they are helpful and incredibly clean! I loved the place, even though we had to share bathrooms. The location is great, a block from the sea and a 10 minute walk from downtown. Easy arrival procedure. Wish to come again. Thanks a million!

A little piece of paradise in the center of the city with lots of history, charming and beautifully decorated. Beautiful garden and generous delicious breakfasts. Eduarda is a wonderful host and gave us a warm welcome in addition to great recommendations in the area. We will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed stay in Vila Rosario. Amazing and helpful staff, delicious homemade breakfast with fresh and warm rolls :) Nice and quiet location with private parking available. Very comfortable and clean room with everything you may need. Also there is a place outside of the room where you can make hot drinks and keep food in the fridge. Highly reccomend :)
