It’s not just a place to stay; it’s a place you want to be. What really struck me is how comfortable and relaxed everything feels. It’s the kind of place where you can instantly unwind, like you’ve stepped into a home rather than a hotel. The rooms are spacious and super comfortable. Grant, Karen and the rest of the staff, are a big part of what makes Nakai so special. They’re incredibly warm and truly want you to have a great time. You really feel taken care of. Breakfasts are a highlight—healthy, delicious, and just the right way to start the day. You can spend hours just soaking in the scenery and the unmatched view of the ocean from the deck. There’s also a private beach right down from the house, part of a conservancy, which feels like a bonus. It’s quiet, peaceful, and a perfect place to unwind. Overall, Nakai just has this special, laid-back charm that’s hard to put into words.
