Breakfast was stupendous! There were a lot of attention and care in all aspects, food quality and presentation, decoration and overall peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It felt we were in a world apart, where people care about you, they are attentive to you and your needs. Eric and Jo were fabulous hosts discreet and yet super efficient and caring. We loved the pain perdus, they were as good as my grandmother's ones. I have food allergies, they did not dismiss them on the contrary. It was the perfect long weekend, just what we all needed. Thank you!

Superb breakfast. Beautiful vieuws and surroundings. Hope we are in the neighbourhood again soon, so we can revisit.

I had a room in the hotel's recently upgraded Guesthouse. Breakfasts were in their popup restaurant whilst the main hotel and restaurant is being upgraded. The food was excellent, and the room (No 8) was excellent too. All of the hotel's facilities are either in, or just off, the main square, making access to Talbot House, the Hop Museum, etc, all within very easy walking distance. The Hotel de la Paix is a family run business, and the owner and staff are all friendly and helpful. My group has stayed with them many times in the past, and hopefully will continue to do so in the future.

However the host was flexible and kind enough to assist me quickly. Really a nice welcome. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. I really liked the decoration and nice details in the house. It's a nice mixture of the history of the building with the comfort of today.

Beautifully restored building with a stunning kitchen breakfast area and courtyard all on a quiet street. Phillipine was one of the nicest people we have met on this 6 country bike tour. We were even able to store our bikes in the courtyard.

The beds were excellent--I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about a safe space during a ghastly war.
