Accomodation has great connection to the city. Room was clean and has ventilator for hot days. My room was facing garden so no noise from the road. Best part of this accomodation is the owner, who is the nicest lady ready to help with everything. Different homemade jams for breakfast were my favourite part. I would definitely recommend.

The view from the window is just like a movie scene with he clear blue lake right at the window. Peaceful and quiet and very welcoming. The bed was comfortable We had dinner at the restaurant, the terrasse offers a great view. The food was delicious (We tried the Lasagna and the Polenta), and the portions were very generous! Most romantic stay you could expect!!! There is even a little dock to go for a swim in the lake!

We had a wonderful stay at Ristorante le Bucce di Gandria. The room was cozy, clean, and full of character, exactly what you'd hope for in a small, lakeside hotel. What really made it special, though, was the view. Waking up to look out over Lake Lugano, with the mountains framing the water and the quiet little village of Gandria below, was something we won’t forget. The location is perfect if you're looking for a peaceful retreat that's still close to everything. It's just a short drive or boat ride to Lugano, and you're right near the Italian border too, which made day trips really easy. Gandria itself is tiny, charming, and full of atmosphere. Wandering its narrow lanes felt like stepping back in time. We also loved the slower pace and quiet evenings here. It was the kind of place where you can actually hear the lake. Highly recommend if you're after a mix of comfort, scenery, and a real sense of place.

So many great things about this hotel! The location is spectacular!!! The owner and staff are very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant serves delicious food, especially the pizza. Breakfast had lots of options. The room was clean and comfortable. The room view looked towards the famous church on the hill and terra cotta roof tops. There didn't seem to be hot water for showering the evening I was there. Not sure why that was, as I didn't ask. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking. Overall, fantastic value for the money. I very highly recommend this hotel. I hope to visit Morcote again. When I do, I will stay here again.
