Totally amazing place to stay! Highly recommended. First of all, it is only 7 mins walk from the ancient city of pangyao. It is also so nearby the railway station. You can go by DIDI or bus, both are so convenient. Second, the decor of the place is AMAZING! I couldn’t help take pictures and video when i first came it. They even have a swing and glass-fish! The staff are so friendly and nice people. The Owner gave me water when i first came and when i left. Whenever i ask for anything she always helps. They have bar and food there with nice prices. I didn’t eat there but saw the food, it looked so delicious. The rooms were also amazing, it is two levels bed and mine was the one above. Surprisingly, it was so comfortable too. When i move it doesn’t vibrate into the bottom bed. The toilet is clean and they have shower gel, hair shampoo, small towel, and toothbrush with toothpaste ready for you to use. The air conditioner works fine and the wi-fi is connected from my room.

Room was cozy and clean. Since it is located inside the ancient city, was the classic atmosphere. Location is perfect and staff is super friendly and helpfull. Helped me with best typs to what to see, helped me with the pick-up from the train stattion. They also have an restaurant that has an excellent food. In the end, they even gave me a suvenir

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Amazing location, right in the center of ancient town of Pingyao but still very quiet. The room is very beautiful, clean and there is all you need for a comfortable stay. Ji is amazing. I highly recommend a short or longer stay at the Ji Family Courtyard Inn.

Lei Lutai Residence se nachází 200 metrů daleko a Pingyao Ancient Government Office 600 metrů. majitel nás vyzvedl na nádraží- je to služba kterou nabízí a oceníte ji, velmi doporučuju, jinak to není snadné v pěší zoně najít, dokonce nás pak druhý den opět zavezl na nádraží, i když to není běžné

Xiangshengyuan Hostel se nachází v Pingyao v regionu Shanxi, zapsaném na seznamu světového dědictví UNESCO, a nabízí terasu a výhled na město. This is a family-run hotel with the whole family pitching in. They were delightful and keen to be helpful with lots of cups of tea, advice and assistance with purchasing tickets. It felt like I was staying with friends. Very little english, but fearless with using translation apps. Very thoughtful - gave me a bottle of water for the train home after dropping me at the station. The standout for this property was the staff. I wish them every success with their business.

About 10 minutes' drive from Pingyao Railway Station, Pingyao Xinglongyi Inn offers affordable accommodation for travellers. Free WiFi is provided throughout the entire property. the inn was very beautiful and traditionally chinese. the room was comfortable and equipped with all necessities. the two owners were very nice and helpful, they even spoke english:) bonus they had two beautiful kitties!

Must say that lonely planet recomendation about staying in this hotel was not a disapointment. A lovely hotel in the heart of Pingyao with people that speak very good english. A quiet place where we could get a very good rest. We booked a deluxe room and it met our exceptations. You can even ask for a pick up at the station and they will help you

I liked the location and I enjoyed staying in a room that had lots of history. It was easy to walk around the city, with many shops and interesting historical sites to see.
