The hotel is just at the edge of the lively area which means that it was quiet at night! Our room was big and comfortable and they kindly let us leave our bikes at the hotel while we went on a non bike trip for a few days. Would always go back here if I'm ever back in SM.

Little paradise within the jungle, but still in walking distance to nice activities (river, beach). Helpful staff, open air dorm with good mosquito nets. In-house restaurant with good food (even though everything is fried and starts to get hard on the stomach after a few days).

The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay the best. Their cute and well-behaved animals were a big plus! The hostel is clean, the beds comfortable and the aircon great (and necessary). Delicious breakfast. Good wifi! Located in a calmer part of Santa Marta with fewer restaurants, although close to the beach. A bit noisy during the evenings due to the traffic outside. Ideal for people traveling in groups or in pairs.

Ramon was a wonderful host! He helped us discover new hikes, waterfalls, beaches, and served us a delicious breakfast each morning. We felt at home in his place. The view from the top of his property is beautiful, and it was great to be so close to the river and hike right from our cabana. We could walk to Tayrona and take a short bus ride to other sites. The small town of San Rafael was the perfect landing for us; we loved experiencing culture in that way. The accommodations are simple but we're exactly what our family wanted.

We were welcomed warmly by the family and their dog. The room was cozy with airconditioning and a comfortable bed. Lovely house, great breakfast, and wonderful people

Very nice place with lovely hosts! Very calm, peaceful and green place a little outside of Santa Marta. The rooms were very nice and the oustside area was the absolute highlight!

It's a wonderful place to stay if you want peace and quiet and amazing views. The rooms had a balcony with stunning views, so did the shared terrace. The staff is very accommodating and helpful, they have a water refill station which is amazing as it reduces the amount of plastic and is very handy. The room is spacious, basic but has everything one needs. There's only cold water, but it's everywhere in this part of Colombia, just be prepared. We loved the location as it's away from the noise and pollution of Minca, but close enough to a couple of good restaurants (you must try the Japanese place 2 minutes away, the food was extra delicious and the owners are so lovely). The hidden waterfall is walkable distance too and it was our favourite one of them all - almost no people, clean and deep enough to swim. Another MUST DO is a visit to Plan B, it's a farm nearby where they do tours. It was the best experience we had so far.
