Casa Columba is a beautiful boutique hotel located right off of one of the most charming streets in Makarska. It’s an easy 5 minute walk from the main bus station, making it an easy spot to travel in and out of Makarska. While it’s tucked away in a quiet corner, it’s only a short walk to great restaurants, stores and beaches. The adults-only hotel is beautifully renovated, and very charming. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, masterfully decorated, exceptionally clean and incredibly comfortable. The host, Dino, clearly took a lot of pride in crafting an oasis with this entire space. He, Yan Yan, and Eddie were welcoming and kind, and as a solo traveler I felt both safe and incredibly comfortable. I have to call out Yan Yan in particular for being especially thoughtful, professional and warm. He really helped set a positive tone at the start of every day with exceptional service at breakfast and throughly the day with thoughtful suggestions and recommendations. I can’t say enough about how wonderful he was - his energy was a cherry on top of an already lovely stay. I look forward to recommending Casa Columba to friends and family, and returning again one day!

Room have everything we need, and terrace is very good to chill and relax! Host was very responsive and we enjoy her recommendations of restaurants , gelato and they are all soooo good. It was wonderful experience in Split! Thank you!

We loved the luxurious appartment and the location! Excellent! Modern, big enough for my daughter and I. Nice and spacious balcony. In walking distance from the Riva Promenade and the palace. Restaurants nearby. There was a market just before arriving at the promenade. The self check in went smooth. We loved it. We got a map of the city in the room, with tour tips, the bed was ultra comfy, there was an iron and board available. And a mini fridge in the room with 2 bottles of water, which we very much appreciated. The room is also very quiet which we loved! The host was very nice to us and we most defenitely recommend the Antares Luxury Rooms.

A perfect location - only a few minutes walk into the old town, the train station, port, and bus station. Lovely room - clean and comfortable. Excellent communication from the host. It was a comfy little 1-Room apartment with private bathroom. The building looked a bit dated but it does not disappoint in term of comfort and cleanliness. We did not come into contact with the staff or the accommodation provider but we were impressed by a list of recommendations that we received upon arrival. The check in and check out process was very convenient. The location was great as we can reach everywhere even by foot (we love walking so 5-6 km of walks each day was not a big problem) but we also took the bus at times and it was also very well connected and convenient.
