We had a wonderful stay! The hosts speak perfect English and are incredibly kind and helpful — always available to guide us and offer great suggestions. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and we slept amazingly well. This is quite rare in Karimunjawa, where nighttime can be noisy due to prayer speakers — here, instead, we found true peace and quiet. We had originally planned to stay only three nights before moving elsewhere, but if we could go back, we’d definitely spend our whole time at Loyal Friend. It truly felt like home. The location is excellent: just a short distance from both the center and the harbor. We also rented a scooter at a very fair price — it was in great condition and gave us no issues at all. This is a special place that we’ll always carry in our hearts, and we recommend it wholeheartedly and without hesitation.

Aia ja mäevaatega Bhumi Kasuryan Borobudur on Borobuduris paiknev jätkusuutlik külalistemaja, mis on Borobuduri templist 1,6 km kaugusel. Majutusasutusel on terrass ja tasuta eraparkla. I absolutely loved this place, it was fabulous. Very kind stuff who prepare personalised meals and help with everything. I loved the room as well looking out at the rice fields and the option to use bikes. Absolutely recommend this place! Ohh, and can see Borobudur temple from the breakfast table, amazing!

Rumah Dharma asub Borobuduris Borobuduri templi lähedal ja 40 km kaugusel Yogyakarta Tugu raudteejaamast. Kohapeal on lõpmatuse bassein, aed ja terrass, kust avaneb vaade basseinile. I left early for a sunrise tour, but the staff prepared me a breakfast box, it really helps for the travelers who need to leave early.

We met the nicest hosts at this lovely accommodation. The hosts were helpful with everything, there was no request they wouldn't fulfill willingly. The lady of the house (Heni) is a wonderful cook, very kind and attentive. The owner of the house (Wibowo) is a direct, helpful and funny person who constantly provides interesting and useful information, arranges everything (transfer, sightseeing, tickets, etc.), the guest has nothing to do but relax and have a good time. The special, traditional accommodation is within walking distance of the Prambanan and Sewu temples, on a quiet street. The room is tasteful, extremely clean and meets all needs. We really loved being here, and if we return, we will stay here again. I recommend everyone who comes to Prambanan to stay here. And don't miss the dinner! Thank you for everything!

Konditsioneeriga GB 2 Backpacker Borobudur asub Sekatonanis, vähem kui 1 km kaugusel Borobuduri templist ja 41 km kaugusel Yogyakarta Tugu raudteejaamast. The hostel ia very close to the temple entrance, the reception guy is very nice and can provide info, facilities are great too (wifi, lockers, curtains for the beds, cleanliness, air con). Also, free cold water and coffee in the morning. It's a pity very little people come to spend a night in Borobudur. It's a very cute town and you can have nice walks in the rice fields just behind the temple or going towards the Chicken Church.

Guesthouse 44 was my second home for a week in Purwokerto. The room was not spacious, but it had all necessary appliances and good air conditioning. A double room was just enough for my luggage, so I suggest if you travel with a partner, get a bigger room, the price is really affordable. The bathroom might surprise you, because it has no sink, just a shower, and no mirror, which is somewhat inconvenient. The room was sparkling clean, the bed sheets and the towels smelled amazing, it was regularly cleaned and supplied with bottled water every day. As a foreigner, you might get some special treatment, as the managers are really caring and put in a lot of effort to be of best service. The breakfast is abundant, if you don't like the local style, they'll prepare you some pancakes, omelette and steamed vegetables, so as to make sure you don't go out hungry. It is a good idea to bring some small present for the lady and her husband who run the hotel (they are about 60) - it will make their day. At their place you will surely feel as a part of a big family. Please bear in mind, that although the hotel is near the city center, you cannot walk in Purwokerto, since the streets are bustling with cars and motorcycles and there are no sidewalks for pedestrians. Walking is really dangerous, so better take a taxi. And speaking of taxies, I can recommend this nice young taxi driver in Jakarta, working for the Bluebird company, who speaks perfect English and is a very honest and helpful person: +62 852-1258-2235 (Willy). You may contact him on WhatsApp in advance, and he'll pick you up at the airport, without an extra fee. I had to bargain with many taxi drivers when I arrived in Jakarta in order to get an almost fair price, while this one trusts his meter, so no need to worry. Good luck with your adventure!
