This is the biggest surprise of my Indonesia trip! This place located in a small town near Malang. It runs by a family and Mrs. Mary took 2 of her independent rooms as hotel. There is super nice mountain view and the whole atmosphere is sooo chill. The room is quite big. The host even gave us some passion fruits and papaya grown from their farm. It is not far from Mt. Bromo and Tumpak Sewu - both takes 1.5h to drive there. There are hardly any tourists in this small town and when we were walking to a restaurant, the people were so curious and greeting us friendly, the kids on the street waved to us and say hello. It was such an amazing experience! The sunset of with rice field view in the small town is also really really beautiful. There is also a good and modern restaurant 20 min walk from our stay and it is designed to see the sunset with a big balcony, the food is very nice too

Ericka and Marc made us feel at home and nothing was too much to ask. They arranged our tour trip to Ijen, our laundry and our entire trip to Canggu after (taxi-boat-taxi). They really went the extra mile! In addition, the garden and food (breakfast and dinner) at the stay were amazing. Ericka and Marc also recommended us a lovely walk nearby the place during sunset. Would definitely recommend!

Very close to the station, so it was easy to travel to and back. Staff is lovely and attentive and will help you organise activities and day trips, as well as can recommend good places to see.

Very convenient location. It was far enough from the main road to have a quiet night despite the unavoidable call for prayer at 4am. There are a few local restaurants close by. The owner welcomed us cheerily and gave us very good advice. He was arranging and let us keep the room until we came back from Bromo. The water was hot and the room was clean.

מקום האירוח PESONA BROMO Homestay ממוקם בפרובולינגו, במרחק של 11 ק''מ מהר ברומו, וכולל גינה וחניה פרטית בחינם. Room is basic, but clean. The host was really nice and helpful, he arranged us a Bromo tour and when we came back there was a free breakfast, wich was lovely. We also ate there lunch on the day we came to the hotel. It was very delicious and cheap. This place is one of the best because it’s so close to the vulcano, that you can get longer rest before the start. It only take about 10 min with jeep to get to the starting point for the sunrise view. Great value of money. Recommended.

I had a great stay here thanks to Rohmat and Dimas who were very friendly and helpful. The guesthouse offers a transfer from/to the train station and tour to visit the Tumpak Sewu / Goa Tetes / Kapas Biru waterfalls. The room was clean and comfortable.
