Great house reef with plenty of fish of all sizes. Walking sharks can be seen during nights. The best breakfast buffet we had while traveling Raja Ampat. Very thoughtfully designed Bungalows and other facilities. Beautiful beach close by. Snorkeling tours were amazing and even more so because of our knowledgeable guide Esni. We simply fell in love with this place and hope to visit again. Thank you so much Andy and Esni!

Paparisa Homestay asub Kris. Rannaäärsel majutusasutusel on erarand, aed ja terrass. Personal võib korraldada transporditeenust. Külalistemajas on ka rätikud ja voodipesu. Words can't describe how amazing the experience was. Paparisa is a brand new, small, private and secluded homestay with the nicest houses in Kri Island by far (compared to all the other homestays). The place has five "resort level" cosy houses with ensuite semi-open air bathroom (rare in Raja Ampat), big nice comfortable beds with mosquito net, a small private terrace in each house to relax or to watch the sunset and a small restaurant to enjoy your meals (they are building a nice sunset view big restaurant which they said will be ready by September 2025). They provide towels, toilet paper and linen so no need to bring yours. They have some toiletries but better bring some extra shampoo and shower gel for your convenience. Electricity is available almost half of the day and it is more than enough to charge anything in your room! The sea is just three meters from your door so you can easily swim whenever you want. This is also very convenient for diving or excursion's pickups as the boats pick you up straight from your door to go for diving or for a trip! Also, in walking distance you can snorkel in very amazing home reefs on your own. Paparisa rents for a small amount of money snorkeling equipment and these guys can also arrange several snorkeling trips to anywhere in the area. They also have contacts around so don't hesitate to ask them for anything you need! The communication before arrival through WhatsApp was exceptional and they have helped us a lot with our planning (the boat from Waisai to Kri arranged by them and a lot more). The food in the place is very tasty and feels like home and they are willing to cater any special dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan etc).

Erarannaga Coco Huts Guest House asub Waisai ranna ääres. Majutusasutusest avaneb vaade merele ja mägedele. Külalistemajas on aurusaun, päikeseterrass ja välikamin. The Place is fantastic. A bit off the beaten Track. Rio and her husband manage the place very well - lovely Family. Great food. Sweet Kids :) The food was amazing, the house reef is great as well. Nice excursions with Vence to Wayag or nearby manta point and smaller islands also aroud with spectactular reefs and coral gardens. Pianemo also close. The trip to Wayag is close(r) to do from here, so you might have enough time to enjoy Wayag. The homestay has shared bathroom which is spotlessly clean, the traditional bungalows overlook the sea with fantastic sunsets. A well recoomended place to spend more then 2 or 3 nights.

Raja Ampat Sandy Guesthouse asub Saonekis, 1,3 km kaugusel Waisai Torang Cinta rannast. Külalistemajas on konditsioneeriga majutusruumid. The homestay owner contactes us prior to our arrival to check if we were finding our way (they also offered a taxi pick-up at the harbour) and welcomed us with open arms. The homestay has a nice small garden where we had breakfast. The owners also helped us to arrange our taxi next morning

Raja Ampat Sandy Guest House asub Saonekis, 1,3 km kaugusel Waisai Torang Cinta rannast. Külalistemajas on konditsioneeriga majutusruumid. Rannaäärsel majutusasutusel on terrass ja tasuta eraparkla. The owners were extremely helpful with organizing trips, answering questions, giving advice on places to stay. The breakfasts were always delicious and varied. They were very knowledgable about the region and were well connected. They arrainged a good scooter at a fair price. A great first landing spot off of the ferry from Sorong. I have already booked my second stay when back from the outer islands to prepare for the return ferry trip. International travelers will be happy here.

Rõdu ja merevaatega GAM BAY bungalow's asub Besiris Lääne-Papua piirkonnas. Rannaäärsel majutusasutusel on terrass. Home stay located in a wonderful place, good food with even a snack, good bathroom with soap and also 2 outdoor showers, bungalow with mosquito net and fan. But what makes the difference is Aron! He manages the home stay together with his family, born in Gam, speaks English and knows the place very well. We went on wonderful excursions with him, he was super helpful in adapting the excursions according to our requests. On all excursions he came with us, explained things to us, snorkeled with us. Excellent bird and animal screwer!

The staff here really makes a difference! There are a couple of Catalan ladies (volunteer staff) who have been very responsive to every request I have made. The location is close to a very good reef for snorkeling. Comfortable over-the-water huts. Large bed with comfortable mattress and high mosquito net. Love the oversized knit hammock! Easy pick up for divers with Soul or Turtle or Yenbuba dive centers.

Located in Pulau Saonek-kecil with Waisai Torang Cinta Beach nearby, Rara Guest House Raja Ampat provides accommodation with free private parking. Place was clean and close to the harbour. Nice bed and pillows.

Eraranna ja aiaga Amfriwen Homestay asub Yennanas Besiris mere ääres. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. Külalistemajas on peretoad. Mõnel majutusruumil on terrass ja/või rõdu, kust avaneb vaade merele. I booked 8 days here. I went diving for three days on the Pulau Gam and snorkeled daily on Friwen. They are about a 10 mins boat ride. The Homestay is rustic. There are two beds covered with mosquito net. They are totally fine but somehow one would get in every night. It’s an island at the equator, there are mosquitoes. Also geckos! That’s part of the adventure. The room has an interior slide lock and there’s a clipping lock with a key for locking when you’re away. Honestly I never locked my place. The island seems very safe. Kids playing, most of the folks on the island are involved in tourism, though they don’t speak much English. It wasn’t an issue. I traveled solo and spent most afternoons in the hammock, reading, writing or napping. The food was amazing, delicious, the cook is very sweet and calls you to breakfast, lunch and dinner. The fresh fish is caught daily. Vegetables and rice, very delicious and all included. Large quantities. Box lunches are available if you are diving all day. Bananas are snacks. Unlimited instant coffee, tea, hot water. The island is stunning. Sunsets amazing. The reef has more life to see while snorkeling than most places (Europe, Caribbean, US, Latin America) have to see while scuba diving! I saw turtles, squid, dolphins playing, reef sharks and millions of coral. A not about cash and other fees: you will need ~140,000 to take a ferry from Sorong to Waisai. Then you’ll need 600,000 to ride each way from Waisai to Friwen (this can be divided with others, provided there are other riders.). On Waisai, you’ll have to buy a Marine Park pass and an entry pass, in total 1,000,000. So you’ll need around 2,250,000 in cash (be prepared bc the pass can be purchased online, or card but sometimes their system is down and you have to pay cash). In Sorong airport there are four ATMs, most of them don’t work well. There are ATMs on Waisai but you have to ride a motorcycle to them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
