A recently renovated guest house set in Tuk Tuk, Hub Tata Guesthouse features a garden. The property features lake views. In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside.

At the guest house, each unit comes with a desk. Featuring a private bathroom, units at the guest house also provide guests with free WiFi, while certain rooms will provide you with a terrace. I loved the small cottage right next to the lake and the balcony to relax on. The bed was very comfortable with warm duvet. There was a fan but I didn't need it as the the weather was just nice. I loved the shower's very good water pressure and warm water. Some more there was a warm welcome as soon as I got off the ferry and the helpful staff made me feel welcome throughout my stay right up until I stepped back on the ferry. Loved the breakfast so much! Very tasty, filling and healthy.

Since we arrived, Bryan welcomed us with a very big smile and kindness. The food, the location, the room, everything was perfect and way beyond our expectations. The jungle trekking with the staff of Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey was anonther level of perfection. Rachid and Gunawan were more than professional and helpful during the whole trip, big thanks to them. The trek was wonderful, the food also was so delicious , the lunch and the dinner in the camp where we had a special member of the team who cooked for us traditional dishes. We highly recommend both the guesthouse and the trip in the jungle with this super team. Thank you a lot for this lifetime memorable experience.

A bicycle rental service is available at the guest house. Lovely stay with the best view in Padang! Robert our host was just a really nice guy and helped us out where he could, he picked us up at the ferry port and brought us to the airport. We even went with him and his family for dinner one night which we enjoyed a lot, good times. We hope to be back one day. Dries and Caro

Alek and Nabil are really great hosts who are Bukit Lawang's second best feature after the orangutans! The balcony has a lovely view out over the river and the location is perfect in amongst the locals.

With mountain views, Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa is situated in Bukit Lawang and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The rooms are fitted with a balcony with garden views and free WiFi. Good food, great facilities, super relaxing. Sad to leave so soon.

All units at the guest house are equipped with a seating area. The guest house provides certain units that include sea views, and every unit has a private bathroom and a desk. The units will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. Borja and Yuyun are excellent hosts that offers you the warmest welcome that you can imagine. They are very kind and help you with any and every question you might have about the place and the island. Every single item in the rooms were well thought. Room was very clean. Having a mini fridge, boiler in the room was great to have. Location is fantastic as it's a bit remote in the island which offers you a calm place to relax. Having the ocean right beneath you is remarkable. Food in the restaurant which is running as a side business, "La Boca Chica", was a great surprise for us as it really exceeded our expectations for taste and variety. We were not comfortable to ride scooter and Borja was kind enough to give us a practice session which shows how far they are willing to go for helping their guests!

At the hotel, every room is fitted with a balcony. At Sahnan Guest House the rooms come with a private bathroom. There was nothing not to love here. The property was clean and well-located, the staff went above and beyond for us by helping us organize rides and activities, the bed was quite comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was tasty and cheap. With the river running by so close, it felt like we were staying at an alpine lodge! The family running the guest house is extremely kind. We couldn’t recommend this place enough. Make sure to bring cash with you, though. As of writing this it’s a cash-only town with the nearest ATM about 7km away.

À la carte and Asian breakfast options with local specialities, fruits and juice are available. At the guest house, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner and lunch and serves Indonesian cuisine. Was a very cute homestay a bit out of the busy city. They where super helpful with all of our questions and we felt very safe. Would book it again
