Very friendly and accommodating owners and great view of the rice paddies from the windows (that covered all the walls) of my room. Lived the true Sumatran shower experience: sluicing buckets of water down my body felt SO refreshing in the humid warm weather.  Also, loved the porch area just outside of the hotel!

The property is very clean. The staff were very helpful. You have to go down a flight a stairs to go to the room. Overall, it was a good stay.

Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey Guesthouse & Jungle Trek asub Bukit Lawangis. Kodumajutusel on tasuta eraparkla, ööpäev läbi avatud vastuvõtt ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Words could not describe how amazing was our experience. Since we arrived, Bryan welcomed us with a very big smile and kindness. The food, the location, the room, everything was perfect and way beyond our expectations. The jungle trekking with the staff of Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey was anonther level of perfection. Rachid and Gunawan were more than professional and helpful during the whole trip, big thanks to them. The trek was wonderful, the food also was so delicious , the lunch and the dinner in the camp where we had a special member of the team who cooked for us traditional dishes. We highly recommend both the guesthouse and the trip in the jungle with this super team. Thank you a lot for this lifetime memorable experience.

Amazing host, comfortable beds and the hospitality they provided just simply amazing. We will come back for sure!

JUNGLE Life - Külalismaja - Matka- ja transpordiga Only Book With Us asub Bukit Lawangis. Kohapeal on vaatega bassein ja jõevaated. The owner was super helpful and was eager to answer any questions through WhatsApp from the moment we booked. Getting a trek was super easy through him once we arrived and the trek was amazing. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and seemed to always be the first to spot an orangutan out of nowhere. Example: "I smell orangutan poo. Give me one second." Then runs off for two minutes and beckons us over pointing up at the tree to a mama and baby very early on. The bed in our room was amazing. Like a firm memory foam. Same for the pillow. For me, that is an ideal sleep. And the location was great. It was right in the middle of the village, so it was about the same distance left or right to the end of the strip. Can't beat the price.

Aia, terrassi, restorani ja tasuta WiFi-ühendusega Gino's Place - Guest House & Jungle Trekking asub Bukit Lawangis. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla ja majutusasutus pakub tasulist lennujaamatransporti. We had a great two night stay! The room was spacious and the AC worked great. The staff were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious (we liked the curry best) and very reasonably priced. We also signed up for a one day tour with them and we had a great day with 5 orangutan sightings led by our guides Jojo and Aldi. One evening some local guys came by to hang out and play some music. It was great singing along and getting to know the people of Bukit Lawang! It was also great that this didn’t go on late into the night and we still went to bed at a very reasonable time.

Best place we’ve ever stayed, cannot recommend it highly enough! The beach 5 meters from the room has some of the best snorkeling we have ever tried. We even saw a sea turtle. Borja is extremely attentive and helpful, and will try to help you regardless of what you need. We stayed in both a deluxe room and later a bungalow. Both are amazing but the bungalow has a bit more privacy. It takes roughly 15 minutes by scooter to get to Gapang Beach where there are diving and freediving schools.

Great homestay in Bukit Lawang, very clean, very cosy huge bed and AC! The owner arranged a Jungle tour for us and our guide Jonny did an awesome job! We saw a lot of orang Utans and a lot of other animals, he knew a lot about the animals and the jungle which was great! The food was also really good! Can’t recommend this place enough

The hosts are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The house is very nice, rooms are good and cool. They have breakfast and diner options. It’s what a guest house should be. We recommend this accommodation 👌🏻
