When do you get breakfast served by a couple who have spent years running the kitchen of an excellent restaurant? That's right: during a stay at the Half Door House! Denis and Teresa run a cosy B&B on the outskirts of the small town of Dingle. The rooms are beautifully and functionally furnished, the bed is very cosy. Denis and Teresa were always on hand with advice. Communication in advance was straightforward and the B&B was very easy to find. The daily highlight was the breakfast, which consisted of a buffet with muesli, yoghurt with berries and fruit and a cooked option, which was freshly and lovingly prepared by the two of them in the kitchen. On our three-week round trip and beyond, it was one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. As the B&B is just outside of Dingle, there is a safety waistcoat in the cupboard in case you want to walk into town in the dark for dinner or a few pints (about 10 minutes).

The minute we opened the outside door, we could smell the newness of the building! Our room was beautiful....definitely hotel standard. It was bright, spacious, spotlessly clean and the temperature was perfect for us. The bed was incredibly comfortable! Joe was very warm and welcoming. He checked in with us several times during our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. The property is a short walk from the town and we really enjoyed the walk to and from the pub each night.

Luxurious, large bedroom with a couple of comfortable chairs, comfortable bed, good sized bathroom with plush white towels and access to outside with a superb view over the harbour. An unexpected bonus was a good sized indoor heated pool with the same spectacular harbour views. I was able to do laps each morning. Also included a steam room. The artwork on the walls was worth a visit just to see those.

The property was very homey and well taken care of. good shower in our room. the owners were exceptionally nice. breakfast in the morning was delicious. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our quick stay and would stay again if ever back in Dingle.

Greenmount House v Dingle vlastní a provozuje rodina Curranů od roku 1977. Every aspect of the Greenmount was exceptional. The hospitality was top notch and you can tell they genuinely cared about your visit with them. The hotel had stunning views, the rooms and shared areas were kept extremely clean and well maintained. The room amenities, soaps, shampoos, hair dryer, pillows, bed, everything was fantastic. Shout out to all the staff! Everyone was so friendly, provided great service and if we didn't chat with the staff (which was hard not to do as everyone was so welcoming), we wouldn't have found some unique places in Dingle they had recommended. Oh and breakfast was outstanding, so happy we included it during our stay. Shout out to the cooks and literally everyone working there. There was a unique charm to this place that I simply can't describe and can only recommend to other travelers that they must make this their place of stay when visiting Dingle.
