Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). We love the Miyajima guest house, the staff was super friendly, the location was great, the common areas were beautiful! We also really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. Overall the only negative was that we only stayed one night, would love to come back and stay at least two nights in the future. ❤️

It's a guesthouse/hostel that is COMPLETELY new, insanely clean, top notch minimalist designs, and the cyclist-specific rooms are amazing. One of the best moments of my trip was waking up after a long day of cycling, and seeing the port sea view from my room. Utterly brilliant. Also Setoda is a really small but beautiful port village, ideal for half a day or a short stay while you are doing the Shinamami Kaido cycling path.

It felt special to be in the heart of the area, it was the perfect respite on our biking trip and the owner was lovely. It’s at the bottom of a temple.

We had a lovely stay at this place. The couple who run the place were incredibly welcoming. The friendly host explained everything we needed to know about the house. I had a couple questions and the host was quick to respond. The location is convenient for people who do not have a car. Me and my daughter were on this island on a cycling trip. After returning our bikes at Kamiura rental cycle terminal we took the bus. The house is a 3km ride away (two bus stops). The bus stop (Tatara no Sato 多々羅の里) is right in front of the guest house which was convenient. There aren’t many buses though so be sure to check the timetable if you want to ride the bus. The house itself is comfortable, incredibly clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. Overall we had a great stay! Thank you for everything.

Fullly equipped kitchen and bathroom as shared amenities. Rooms are not big, but very comfortable and nicely furnished. Location is quite out of the way, but the host made sure to pick us up from the ferry and had bikes available to rent.

Location was fine, ten mins to at least 2 supermarkets and maybe 15 mins to main train station - easy to walk.

滔々 倉敷民藝館南の宿 toutou, Mingeikan Minami no Yado se nachází v destinaci Kurašiki a nabízí ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi. Our best stay in Japan. Most traditional place I have been. Super super fliendly staff. Easy to get inside and able to order UberEats and eat in the hotel room. Very clean en a lot of natural light.

This was the best choice we made in all our trip to Japan. The hosts were super nice, and major Conan fans, so we really enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip! What a beautiful home! We felt so welcome and cozy during our stay! The room was comfortable, the food was delicious, and all around our stay was a wonderful experience.
