The guesthouse is absolutely beautiful. It’s in a more remote location, so it’s very peaceful. The couple running たね are so very kind, and their cooking is exceptional. Breakfast was so delicious. We wish we spoke better Japanese so we could have talked more. They were such interesting people.

We loved our stay at Wakka! We were greeted by the friendly couple and Akira the cat :) Even though we were early we could check in. The house was beautiful and cozy with lovely big windows to the mountains. It was super clean and well planned, so we could easily stay four people. The kind hostess gave us tips about nearby supermarket, so we coule buy food and eat at the outdor table :) When we left we were offerer homemade onigiri! We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

They offer plentiful snacks and vegetables and a fully equipped kitchen for use. We enjoyed using the shared kitchen and being able to hang our laundry to dry outside. The room was perfect and cool at night with pure mountain air! The shrine in Miyaji is also beautiful!

Situato a Kikuchi, a 18 km da Hiramaya Onsen, 民泊サライ七城 prevede un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e una sala comune. We chose Kikuchi instead of Kumamoto, to get away from the city before our trip to Mt Aso. We got a lovely country house, but the main benefit was the lovely couple who hosted us. Super friendly and helpful. I enjoyed breakfast, my wife skipped hers, so the host packed it as a bento box for our lunch. Vegetables from the garden. A guided visit to the forest to see fireflies. Tastes of local food and drink. It was if we were lodging with my favourite aunt and uncle.
