She gave us some great tips for our visit around Fuji-san and made reservations for us at a popular local restaurant, named Yabu (traditional Japanese food, a real crowd pleaser, don't miss it). Our stay at Link House is one to be repeated :-).

A vegan breakfast is available at the guest house. Very good surprise. We arrived late becasue of the bus, but the owner provided useful information for us and picked us up. The ownwe speaks really good English and easy to communicate with. They provided awesome vegan breakfast. One of the top meals we have had in Japan. Very beautiful and peaceful environments. And they have good onsen. We will definitely return again.

We have an authentic taste of living in a traditional Japanese home, albeit a very large room. The whole two-storey unit was left all to ourselves after the restaurant below has closed. The host was very kind to have allowed us the use of many of the facilities in the unit, as I believe we were staying for more than 2 nights. There was very thoughtful provision of water and many little packets of tea and snacks as part of the package. All essential facilities (e.g. bathroom, shower, washing machine, dryer) worked well and good.

The staff are very responsive both online and in person (you can call staff using a button within the accommodation). Our room was spacious and the futons were comfortable. I liked the shared bath (you can lock the doors for privacy), which has 2 showers, faucets in the middle that you can fill a bucket with (very hot and cold water), and a big bath with hot water. The price was also excellent given that we went in mid-November when the foliage was beautiful. We especially liked that we could rent bikes from the property- 2 regular (500 yen each) and 2 electric (2,000 yen each) for the whole day. The owner personally informed us about each of the features on the property and was kind enough to give us a ride back to Kawaguchico station before our bus left. The location is good, in a residential area not too far from a pretty area of the lake, 7 min walk from 7/11 and some of the most local restaurants I've been to (the owner will inform you about them when you get there). Overall, the attention to detail and making us feel welcome was fantastic- I'd stay here again!

The 2-star guest house features lake views and is 3.9 km from Fuji-Q Highland. The guest house has family rooms. Authentic guest house with an excellent host. We got green tea on arrival. and transferred us and our luggage to the train station. He was very nice, even though we were a bit troublesome (complications with arrival time etc.) The view was also beautiful, I hope I can come back for a longer period here.
