I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the host and his family. He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

Wonderful stay with Gihan and Dinu! We stayed twice for a total of 7 nights. A wonderful, authentic experience in Sri Lanka. They are extremely kind and welcoming. They speak English very well, and we were able to take the time to ask questions and discuss many topics such as culture, sports, politics, food, customs, etc. This allowed us to better understand this country. They truly care about their guests, making sure we have everything we need and giving great tips for visiting the city and its surroundings. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner if needed (we recommend trying it at least once because it's delicious). We did the cooking program, which involves buying ingredients at the market and then cooking together. It was great to see all the flavors they add to the dishes we enjoyed afterwards. They know a contact for a safari in Wilpattu National Park and can help organize it. Regarding the accommodation, it's located on a very quiet alley. There's a kitchen available and a pleasant terrace overlooking the small garden. The rooms are well-equipped and pleasant. We recommend a stay here for a wonderful human experience. Wilpattu Mookalan Resort se nachází v destinaci Habawewa a má zahradu, nekuřácké ubytování a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Jen 39 km odtud je Kumbichchan Kulama Tank. Excellent location, few steps from the gate of the National Park! Room was very comfortable and very clean. Bed was super comfortable too and mosquito net provided. Air con was a welcome relief from the heat. Bathroom was also spacious and clean, hot water was great. The owner was the sweetest man, his nephew messaged to ask if I wanted dinner, I declined, but the owner knocked on my door to give me fruit and ice cream so I wouldn’t go hungry at night. So sweet! His nephew also provided me with a welcome drink and even took me on the safari. Highly recommend doing the safari with them, they were the most affordable and they really considered what animals I wanted to see and tried their best to find them. The breakfast, lunch and snacks were so good! I was very well fed! They were very accommodating to me and really put in effort to help me when my card had issues. I will definitely stay with them again.

Je prostorné, nově zařízené a na klidném místě. Hlavní přednosti je skvěla sekomunikace s majitelem Pomůže vám se vším, co potřebujete. A navíc přidá vlastní tipy a rady.

Dobrá lokalita na výlety, přístup provozujícího a personálu, možnost večeřet na místě. Mají dobré večeře. Super mít bazén k dispozici. Velkým plusem byla opravdu ochota personálu a domluvení soukromého transferu, protože jsme nemohli sehnat jiného řidiče.. byl tu státní svátek.

Staying at Sweet Home Tourist Rest turned out to be one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Sri Lanka. It’s rare to find a place that offers both great value and a truly personal touch , but this one does exactly that. Instead of just a room, we had an entire private apartment, including a comfortable living room, which gave us so much space to relax. It was quiet, clean, and located in a peaceful part of town, making it easy to rest and recharge between our adventures. And considering the price, it felt like an absolute steal. What really made this stay unforgettable were the authentic experiences arranged by the hosts. Nilukshan helped us explore some of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sites with thoughtfully organized tours, the Wilpattu safari was stunning, and our visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale gave us a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and history. Everything was well-timed, smooth, and stress-free. We also had the chance to join a Sri Lankan cooking class with Malsha, which ended up being one of our favorite memories. The class was fun, hands-on, and filled with flavor, we left not just with full stomachs, but with recipes and techniques we can take home with us. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, if you want comfort, authenticity, and connection this is the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

From enjoying some of the most authentic Sri Lankan cuisine to meeting some of the best hosts during our three-week stay in Sri Lanka, it was an unforgettable experience. The staff at Blooming Resort were attentive to all our needs, organizing an experienced tour guide to take us around Anuradhapura, allowing us to explore places we hadn't seen during our previous three trips. Most days, we ended up having breakfast and dinner at the resort, where the food was among the best we had in recent stays on the island. It reminded us of the delightful flavors of traditional Sri Lankan cooking, evoking memories of our grandmother's kitchen. Keep up the great work. We hope to see you soon.

Jídlo od hostitele bylo pestré a výborné. Vždy něco nového. Byli jsme rádi, že nabízejí místní dobroty a vždy bylo dost jídla. Při brzké návštěvě safari jsme snídani odložili až na poledne po návratu.

Habarana Dulwan Guest House nabízí zahradu, terasu a pokojovou službu. Pidurangala Rock je 12 km odtud. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště a dostupné je také bezplatné Wi-Fi. Příjemné přivítání. Jedna se o pár, který pronajímá pokoje ve svém domě. Majitel nás ráno odvezl tuktukem na Sigirii abychom stihli výhod slunce. Na cestu nám zabalil snídani.
