Gihan and his wife truly care for all of their guests, looking after their wellbeing and also allowing for independence and privacy. It felt to nice to be well cared for, especially when traveling alone. Gihan can help arrange tours and activities and will take you himself in his Tuk Tuk when available. They have bikes for hire and I enjoyed riding all around Anuradhapura a couple of times. Their food is amazing! In the past they owned a restaurant and it shows. A huge variety and the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I am gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating to my diet. You can tell they care a lot about their business, investing in it and caring for their clients. Extend your stay, you won’t regret it. There’s much to see In Anuradhapura and you’ll not want to leave Corner Cottage.

It’s very calm and peaceful. The house is also very clean and spacious. The caretaker, Sadi (I hope I spelled the name correctly), is a super nice guy and always ready to help. He makes staying here even more special. Overall, I would highly recommend to stay here. It is also possible to organize a safari trip. The price seems fair, and the driver will pick you up directly from the house. I was very satisfied with how well it was organized.

Wilpattu Mookalan Resort se nachází v destinaci Habawewa a má zahradu, nekuřácké ubytování a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Jen 39 km odtud je Kumbichchan Kulama Tank. The property is right outside the national park. Very convenient, and the room is super neat, the dinner we had was delicious, and wholesome! The owners were extremely friendly and accomodating (the wife made beautiful omelette upon our special request for dinner). The owner’s son guided us on a half day safari trip. We had a wonderful experience - beautiful family!!

It’s very rustic and simple. AC is very functional. There were a few hiccups, but the outstanding staff addressed everything immediately. Everything I tried on the menu was delicious. There isn’t a lot to do in Habarana, but it’s a great location to stay if you want to visit the cave temple, Sigiriya, Miniriya and Polonnaruwa. The first three are less than 30 mins away. Polonnaruwa was a fast hour.

The guest room upstairs is very spacious and tidy. The balcony is a lovely place to chill out in the evening. The host’s cooking is fabulous. We had both breakfast and dinner and throughly enjoyed it. We also had our laundry done promptly. We parked our rented tuk tuk safely in the front garden of the Sweet Home. All was sweet and sound! The staff at Blooming Resort were attentive to all our needs, organizing an experienced tour guide to take us around Anuradhapura, allowing us to explore places we hadn't seen during our previous three trips. Most days, we ended up having breakfast and dinner at the resort, where the food was among the best we had in recent stays on the island. It reminded us of the delightful flavors of traditional Sri Lankan cooking, evoking memories of our grandmother's kitchen. Keep up the great work. We hope to see you soon.

Pearl House Resort se nachází v destinaci Anuradhápura a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a sdíleným loungem. Attikulama Tank je 600 metrů daleko. Jídlo od hostitele bylo pestré a výborné. Vždy něco nového. Byli jsme rádi, že nabízejí místní dobroty a vždy bylo dost jídla. Při brzké návštěvě safari jsme snídani odložili až na poledne po návratu.

Habarana Dulwan Guest House nabízí zahradu, terasu a pokojovou službu. Pidurangala Rock je 12 km odtud. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště a dostupné je také bezplatné Wi-Fi. Příjemné přivítání. Jedna se o pár, který pronajímá pokoje ve svém domě. Majitel nás ráno odvezl tuktukem na Sigirii abychom stihli výhod slunce. Na cestu nám zabalil snídani.
