It was very clean and the beds were private - it felt that you have your own space. I went to different hostels in Hiriketiya, but this one is the best.

The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Bezkonkurenční čistota ubytování mluví za vše. Ubytovatelé se o jejich apartmány pečlivě starají. Za celý pobyt jsme v našem pokoji nepotkali jedinou havěť a pro jistotu byla nad postelí i moskytiéra. Velice vkusně zvolený nábytek, který společně s poskytovanými voňavými šampóny pro mě tvoří samostatnou vzpomínku. Opravdu nádherné místo, hodnotím 100/10. Ubytovatel byl navíc velice nápomocný s jakýmikoli otázkami. Myslím si, že se jednou vrátíme.

A stylish, comfortable and luxurious stay. This place is so special and you can see the love and care that went into this villa. Our room was spacious and looking out to the ocean. The beach is just a few steps away from the bedroom constertina doors that open completely. I loved the botique shop on the property with beautiful designer clothes. Lovely hosts and a really comfortable stay! There is also a beach nearby where you can swim with turtles!

Absolutely in love with the place that Wounderfull couple is managing! The whole team made out stay incredible and unforgettable, the varied so much about us almost every moment we stepped out of the room. Mr and Mrs Dias are always in the hotel, approachable if you need something. The hotel has a great security, it is not easy for strangers to come in. Also it is located on the Main Street it is very quiet and we slept well. The beach and some good restaurants are just couple minutes walk. The room was clean with everything you need, comfortable beds, hot shower with very good water pressure. Breakfast was very good with small compliments from the chef. We really enjoyed the place and would love to come back to this particular hotel next time we visit Sri Lanka.

It's surrounded by nature, I enjoyed watching birds, squirrels, monkeys and so on. The owner is very polite and considerate, always ready to help with all questions. The Internet works well, the room is clean. And you can rent a scooter in the same place.

Stayed at this family-run guesthouse/hotel for one month. Zero issues. The room (with balcony overlooking a backyard) was spacious, clean and quiet. King size bed was comfortable and protected by a mosquito net. Really neat! Ample sized bathroom with hot/cold water. The fridge is in the common area downstairs. Room cleaning on demand. There's also a restaurant on premises that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The owners and staff are super friendly and accomodating. Can arrange a reasonably priced taxi wherever you might need to go. Any other questions and concerns are eagerly answered and helped with pronto. Very laid-back atmosphere overall. Right outside of the hotel on the main road there are two fruit stands, a masage salon and a couple of good mom&pop grocery stores. Easy access (3-5 min) to the ocean and Coconut Tree Hill. Mirissa Beach is a 13 minute walk. Evening/night time the area is pretty quiet as all nightlife happens ~2 km down the main road. Definitely worth the money!
