We loved the friendliness and very welcoming host. We liked the warm, cosy communal main room and also our twin bedroom with very comfortable beds and pillows. We had great breakfasts and dinners cooked for us which were delicious. Chez Hiba is really well located on a quiet street in the heart of Rabat, a short walk from the railway station and from the beach.

We only stayed one night at Dar Si Hmed, and honestly, it was far too short. Our host, Nasr, was incredibly warm and welcoming—you immediately feel like you're visiting an old friend. This is a true family riad, and Nasr is happy to share stories about his home, which has been in his family for generations. We were given a fantastic room—authentic, full of character, and beautifully decorated, adding to the overall charm of the stay. Breakfast was amazing, with all the pastries and even the bread homemade by Nasr’s wife. On his recommendation, we visited Chellah, an ancient Roman and medieval necropolis in Rabat, which we hadn't originally planned to see. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip, especially watching the storks nesting among the ruins. A wonderful stay—highly recommended!

The place is always spotless, and the service is consistently excellent. The staff are all very friendly and make you feel right at home. A special thank you to Moncef at the front office—he was incredibly kind, helpful, welcoming, and also very funny, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciate his warm hospitality.
