This was the most peaceful place we have stayed in a while. Super friendly host/hostess and staff. It was like we were staying with some relatives. The location was excellent, the sunsets you get are amazing. There were great restaurants nearby, which served amazing food. Also we had variety in breakfast, no two days were the same. Which you do not get at the resorts. It is a place you have to experience, nothing can describe it. And yes the rum was 😋

Lovely building tucked away on a residential street, easy parking and walking distance to lots of local restaurants, supermarket. Nice pool and rooms are spacious and great. Most of all the host Mathieu is a really great guy and couldn’t have done more for us. Clear instructions, great local tips, flex around check in and out times - just first class. We spent a bunch of time in a big-brand 5* resort before this and honestly now wish we’d stayed only done a couple of nights there max and spent much more time here. Quarter of the price and better overall local experience. Thanks for everything Mat!

This place is exceptional with breathtaking surroundings and views that exceeded our expectations. Owners and staff were incredibly attentive, providing us with plenty of useful tips to enhance our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pristine getaway in a untouched nature with top notch hospitality!

Wonderful guest house, so relaxing and hospitable. We spent a great time there. Zac and Tom, that manage the house, are 2 kind and smart guys, you can ask them for suggestions about what to do or help to book any activity you want. 3 days per week they organize a dinner with all the guests. It's a very cool situation where you can speak and interacts with people from other countries about your experience in Mauritius. A lovely place with lovely people.

Le Gite du Bonheur Guest House & Car Rental se nachází na západním pobřeží ostrova Mauricius v Tamarinu, na úpatí oblíbené hory La Tourelle a 5 minut jízdy od pláže Tamarin Bay. Very nice and well maintained guesthouse. The staff is attentive and helpful. Room is spacious n serviced daily. Car rental from the guesthouse is very practical.

My husband and I were very happy to stay. If you want to have a luxury experience then this place isn't the place to be for you. It is like a homestay, there's everything you need. The location is really good, the beach and restaurant are walking distance (within 7 min) The hosts are really friendly and helpful. Some reviews said the internet speed is low. But I could work smoothly(I didn't use video or voice call though) We didn't use kitchen for cooking. Gus stove with oven and pots are there. The washing machine isn't attached inside of your room, but it is outside for use. I am sure we will be back here if we come to Mauritius again !

Happy Days Guest House se nachází v La Gaulette, 5 minut jízdy od Le Morne a pláže. Výhled směřuje na ostrov Bénitiers. Prostorné pokoje mají výhled na moře, balkon, lednici a koupelnu se sprchou. One of the best locations on the island. You have few minutes drive-by to the best beaches. There are restaurants within a walk. Everyone is really kind and helpful. All the attractions you need to see are really close. The breakfast in the hotel is really amazing with fresh fruits and freshly baked bread (baguette) each day. You will really enjoy it. The People are wonderful. Huge thanks to Sabrina for being so helpful and showing us around. If you have any questions about anything don’t hestitate to ask.
