One of the best places I have stayed at during my 4 months in the Philippines. Everything looks almost new, and everything is spotlessly clean. Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice outdoor sitting area right outside the room. Spacious room with plenty of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and towels supplied. The room had a proper desk and also excellent lighting. Good location half way between the port and town, within walking distance to both. Also walking distance to the 'stumble inn' beach bar/restaurant which overlooks the sandbar. There's also a clean and well equipped kitchen with a big fridge and dining table. Free hot and cold water dispenser. Small convenience store on site. You can also do your laundry for free out on the back. Very good WiFi. Excellent place to stay if you want to balance out your budget with a bit of DYO.....I also loved the tiny baby kitten.

Staff went above and beyond organizing everything from Moto rental to sardine and turtle snorkelling. Most notably Lisa! Well deserved 10/10. Facilities were great as well.

Astillos guest house stay was stunning. It is very clean, hot showers and nice comfy bedroom. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. Very well maintained. Theo and the family are so friendly and helpful. Always greeted with a smile. 100 % would recommend staying here. We enjoyed a few nice beers and chats in the evening with the family.

Everything was perfect, great room, clean, atm outside, amazing air con, 7-11 close, scooter hire at the property and the host was amazing so kind and helpful! Couldn’t recommend it more.

First of all, the property is near the road and it can be easily found. Second, the family room that I stay is very clean and cozy. What most important is the staffs! This place is local family-owned. The staffs were so nice, friendly and extremely helpful. I spent two nights there. At the first night that I arrived, I arrived very late around midnight. Before arriving, I called Evelyn, the manager of the hotel, asking for check-in late and for facilitation for whale shark watching + sumilon isand + Tumalog fall the day after. She did wait for us and arrange everything we needed. During our stay is Chirstmas Eve time, she and her family also invited us to taste the local food for Christmas. In addition, when we had to leave to other province, her husband also arranged the comfortable transportation for us in an affordable price. I would highly recommend everyone to stay at Melronz Inn hotel. Besides, this hotel only has two room. On the third floor has rooftop which is worth spending time.

A compact property well maintained and staffed by friendly, knowledgeable staff. Its location feels far from the buzz of Moalboal but ohhh so convenient. The rooms were well appointed. Super comfortable bed, fully outfitted bathroom, room was tidied up daily. The free breakfast was a full-on meal that often got me through to midafternoon! They set up tours, cars, and laundry services. If you need anything, ask! They want you to be comfortable and worry-free so you can enjoy all the area has to offer.
