Our stay at Villa Salam was truly the highlight of our trip to Tunisia. From the moment we arrived, we were taken by the beauty and serenity of the property. The villa is absolutely stunning, the architecture reflects traditional Tunisian style with its whitewashed walls, while the interiors are tastefully decorated with local artwork and artisan touches. It feels less like a guesthouse and more like a boutique retreat. Despite being a relatively new property, Villa Salam was incredibly well-equipped. Our room had in-unit air conditioning, a full-length mirror, and a small private balcony with a drying rack (a thoughtful touch).The bathroom had multiple hooks, something so simple but rarely found in other places, and made a big difference for convenience and comfort. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we experienced during our time in Tunisia, soft, clean, and perfect for a restful night. Each morning, we looked forward to the delicious breakfast, featuring fresh dates picked right from the trees on the property, served with other local delights. It was such a refreshing and nourishing start to the day. The host, Fethi, went above and beyond. He was responsive, warm, and genuinely helpful. When our flight times changed unexpectedly, he arranged both airport pickup and drop-off, ensuring we weren’t overcharged or misled by taxi services. His hospitality and dedication to his guests truly made us feel welcome and safe. He’s clearly invested in making Villa Salam a special experience for travelers, and it shows in every detail. The location is also ideal, just 15 minutes by car to Houmt Souk and Djerbahood, making it easy to explore the island while having a peaceful base to return to. We’re already recommending Villa Salam to all our friends and family, and we sincerely hope to return someday. Thank you, Fethi, for making our time in Djerba so memorable. Michela and Khalil could not be more welcoming. It is clear from the outset that they want guests to feel at home and have a great stay. We certainly did. We opted to have dinner which was a very good decision as the food was delicious. The pool area is lovely and it’s an easy 10minute walk to the beach. We had booked for 1 night but were pleased to be able to stay another one and would have liked even longer. This is a real find and Michela is a gem. Thank you!

Everything was to our satisfaction. Amira, our host was great. The accomodation was perfect and the breakfast was something else. We felt welcome and we were given a ton of recommandations. The swimming pool was the cherry on cake.

This was by far the best place we stayed at during our 10 day trip across tunisia. Isabell is so kind and helped us since day 1. She helped us to book a boat tour and a scooter for an excellent price. The breakfast was amazing since it was a mix of traditional and continental food. The rooms had a brilliant design and everything worked perfectly, there were very spacious as well. The pool is amazing at night because there are lights that make it magical. The location is perfect as well because it is right next to restaurants and just 200m from the beach. Taxis are available as well if you want to go to any other place on the island, just ask the host. This is one of the few properties on booking that deserve a 10/10 rating
