The hostess was very engaging and shared a good deal of useful information. Our very spacious room was actually a guest villa. The main house includes other guest rooms and the dining area. Breakfast was made to order and wonderful. We enjoyed chatting with other guests at breakfast. Gentle Breeze is on secure grounds in a nicely wooded section of town above the main river.

It's so beautiful and clean. Eric is a super host, he ensured that we were fully catered to. He light us a fire the first night, and provided us free fire wood for the duration of our stay. Amazing place, close to all the local shops, restaurants and bars. I will definitely go back.

We enjoyed a lovely stay while at a conference in Bloemfontein. Initially we thought the place was too far from our conference venue and too close to a fuel station along the N1 highway but it is a lovely drive to this place. We really enjoyed the semi-rural feel and furnishings. I was initially a bit concerned with the proximity of the place to a fuel station along the N1 highway but my concerns were misguided. It had everything we needed including friendly dogs that my kids adored. We will definitely consider staying at this place again.

The owners were friendly and welcoming, sharing information of their town.

This is a piece of heaven on earth. Fantastic hospitality, BEAUTIFUL room and property. The food was delicious. There’s a personal touch too, Gavin is a wonderful host. I just wish we could have stayed there longer. Dinner is available and it’s a VERY tasty meal!
