Situata in una splendida posizione tra le montagne e il mare, nel centro storico di Hermanus, questa incantevole pensione dallo stile provenzale si affaccia sul pittoresco Porto Vecchio. Great location close to the sea, we could see whales in the bay from our balcony and there were many restaurant options close by. The room was clean, spacious and lovely, the staff very friendly and helpful.

I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The reception, check-in, and recommendations are excellent. The breakfast the next morning was exceptional. The view of the mountains are great and it is walking distance to restaurants in the area.

Excellent breakfast, good sized room with ample facilities. Anita was very helpful. For the price one of our best stays in South Africa.

Rivergate guest farm without doubt exceeded our expectations and I almost don't want to share how good it was and keep it a secret but that wouldn't be fair. The staff were very friendly and they made our stay very welcoming.We stayed in the Gardeners Cottage which sleeps 4 people and its a very spacious cottage and boasts a big outdoor area and even has a hot tub which we used a couple of times even though it was summer. We also made use of the braai facilities a couple of the nights we were there and not to mention the breakfast basket each morning that was full of fresh ingredients and we loved how everything was packaged with the care of the environment in mind. We stayed 3 nights but next time we will be staying longer to spend more time on the farm with the animals and explore more of the farm. If I could give it higher than 10/10 I would.

Bouwina was amazing. Rooms were beautiful- wish they could decorate my house! The house and rooms were well stocked - loved the little confectionaries - so sweet. Great view and nature walks.

La vista mozzafiato e la posizione ottimale in zona tranquilla ma non distante dal centro cittadino (meno di 10 minuti d’auto) rendono questa Guesthouse una soluzione eccellente per soggiornare ad Hermanus. Il personale è molto attento, la colazione è varia (ma come spesso accade in Sudafrica soprattutto dedicata al salato) e la pulizia è eccellente.

The greeting by arriving, the details and comfort in the Suites, the outstanding Location over the sea, the extraordinary breakfast and most of all, the kindness and professionality of the staff ! Always ready to help, give advices, book restaurants, etc …etc… We highly recommend this Boutique Hotel for a stay in Western Cape.

Che dire, stupenda!la nostra stanza yellow rose meravigliosa, curata in ogni dettaglio, con una vista incredibile sull’oceano!purtroppo la giornata di pioggia non ci ha permesso di vedere le balene ma quella vista sarà per sempre indimenticabile!colazione ottima, staff gentilissimo e disponibile, avevamo la struttura tutta per noi con la possibilità di usufruire di tutte le bevande presenti nell’angolo bar in autonomia!ci sono stati consigliati due ristoranti nelle vicinanze entrambi di ottima qualità!un posto del cuore
