If you are looking for a unique hotel with a completely different feeling to it, you should definitely try this hotel. As the name states, it is a small palace and a stay there makes you feel like royalty. From the authentic design and the many beautiful rooms and paintings throughout the hotel to the sound of piano you will wake up and eat breakfast to, it's a one of a kind feeling. We stayed here two nights after staying in two other hotels in Lisbon and Porto and we definitely recommend it. One tip is to book the spa in advance- we were lucky to have the baths all to ourselves and it was fantastic.

A Clean and comfortable stay, right on the Metro, suburban train station, as well as bus routes to town and airport. 3 Super clean shared bathrooms - between about 8 bedrooms. We never had to wait to use a bathroom. Very accommodative by letting us drop our luggage of on arrival, early the morning of check in , before going out to sightsee. Our flight was out of Lisbon late night, and we were again given an area to store our luggage so we could enjoy our last day before coming back for a shower The friendliness and willingness to assist by hosts like these is priceless and makes a stay memorable .

The team at Alecrim were the best part about it. They were friendly and helpful and even allowed me to stay in my room until 6pm so I could change and shower before my flight. The room was spacious and comfortable with everything one might need for a perfect stay. Great location, close to the sea and the city.

So easy to walk to the castle (albeit up and down steep hills), take a bus to Belem, jump on a traditional tram, and visit the shops, bars & restaurants. Location, location, location!     A beautiful hotel that is like a private home.The rooms are modern but have an old world quality. I loved the huge windows with interior shutters that you could close. Also loved the wood floors through out. The staff was amazing and very helpful. A nice private garden to sit in to read and relax. A short walk to cafes and restaurants . Neighborhood parks were easily accessible with lots of walking paths. A luxury experience at a very affordable cost.
