People make a place, and my stay at Eight Palms is true to that statement. The owner and manager Camien went way and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable, from picking me up and driving me to the airport to collect a rental. Breakfast deliciously prepared to my dietary requirements with care and dedication. Bed was super comfortable and bathroom lovely. Decoration with a touch of 'biggie best' and antique. Invitation was even extended to join in celebrations of a family birthday during load shedding and even dinner on one occasion was provided. A true hidden gem of a guesthouse nestled between Eight Palms in the central hub of Port Edward.

the view was beautiful and the staff was so kind. The day we arrived the weather was awful with heavy rain, so they upgraded us to a bigger room to protect us against leaking water.
