The Homestay was outstanding. The entire host family is very friendly and highly service oriented. I got a true experience of Fijian culture, which a hotel stay can not provide. They have a way of making you a part of the family. The hosts sing and play guitar to welcome you and again on farewell. The food is outstanding. I got freshly plucked, organic fruits and vegetables directly from the plant. The coconut water provided was from freshly plucked fruits. The chief hostess is an amazing chef and made delicious and yummy meals with a new combination in every meal. For all my future trips to Taveuni, I will be staying with them.

They welcomed us into their family with real warmth and fed us extremely well both at breakfast and dinner in the evening. Sarah even insisted upon providing us with a packed lunch. They could not have been more helpful, even putting our clothes through their washing machine and hanging them up for us to dry. We and our fellow guests immediately felt completely at home. Sam is a retired schoolmaster and currently a taxi driver, while Sarah works at a local Resort. Sam was always cheerful and cracking jokes and, after taking us us to visit the highlight spots of Taveuni, would wait patiently to bring us back home again. He also met us off the ferry from Natuvu and took us to the small adjacent airport upon departure. One day their daughter had left her lunch box behind, so we had the pleasure of touring her school, a very happy place. We were very sad to leave and would love to return on a future occasion. We would thoroughly recommend AerowView Home Retreat to anyone who plans to visit Fiji.
