Overlooking picturesque hills, Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse is a family-run guest house in the tranquil Village of Ings, 2 miles from Windermere. There is free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms. Spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing and they catered for both vegan and gluten intolerance. The linen was great and all facilities were clean and new. The hosts were friendly and always available. I recommend that anyone that stays there goes to the Windmill Inn only 100m down the road for a meal. Lovely garden and next to a petrol station and shop if you need to buy any basics.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels. A cozy place to stay, a short walking distance to the lake. A wonderful host, hostess. Would love to come again..

Excellent accomodation in a great location. Beautiful rooms and a good selection of cold and hot breakfast options served in a lovely dining room.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. The place is very quaint and I loved how each room is themed differently on explorers and nature. Also, loved the fact that we were welcomed to some warm mulled wine( it was freezing outside) Also, the breakfast is amazing !

Exceptional self check in service. A welcome message was sent which outlined all the best places to eat, walk and visit. The mood of the room when we walked in was really relaxing. The additional prosecco, chocolates and balloons was a perfect touch for my partners birthday. We've stayed in a few of the high end hotels in bowness and none of them had the personal touch or feel that this place did. Thank you, we will be returning.
