Warm welcome from Johan and his nephew, the room was clean and already fresh with the AC. The place felt like home and we could also use the kitchen. The breakfast was very good with plenty of food and fruits. The location is perfect, in a calm neighborhood, close to the city center. We also plan the visit to Ijen with Johan and everything went smoothly ! Thanks for everything, it was a pleasure to meet you :)

Maison Manendra - Bromo asub Gubukklakah's, 22 km kaugusel Bromo mäest ja 25 km kaugusel Malangi Velodrome'ist. Kohapeal on aed ja tasuta eraparkla. I had a wonderful stay at this charming family-run hotel. The hospitality was warm and personal, and the home-cooked meals, especially dinner, were absolutely delicious. Rani went above and beyond to help us secure a last minute jeep booking to visit Mt Bromo, which we really appreciated. The location was perfect—quiet, cool, and peaceful, making it a great escape from the city. Plus, the hotel is equipped with Starlink WiFi, which was fast and reliable enough for me to get some work done during the trip. Highly recommended!

This is the biggest surprise of my Indonesia trip! This place located in a small town near Malang. It runs by a family and Mrs. Mary took 2 of her independent rooms as hotel. There is super nice mountain view and the whole atmosphere is sooo chill. The room is quite big. The host even gave us some passion fruits and papaya grown from their farm. It is not far from Mt. Bromo and Tumpak Sewu - both takes 1.5h to drive there. There are hardly any tourists in this small town and when we were walking to a restaurant, the people were so curious and greeting us friendly, the kids on the street waved to us and say hello. It was such an amazing experience! The sunset of with rice field view in the small town is also really really beautiful. There is also a good and modern restaurant 20 min walk from our stay and it is designed to see the sunset with a big balcony, the food is very nice too

The owner is friendly and helpful with tips. He even picked me up from the train station. The room is comfortable and clean, but simple. I don't mind. The internet is so-so. You need to link to another WiFi to have good internet.

By far the most spacious and luxurious room I have stayed at in Indonesia so far. A really peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. And a good restaurant just a couple of minutes walk away. Outstanding value for money.

We loved our stay. The room is beautiful and you are literally right in the middle of the rice fields. Amazing views, can even see the top of Borobudur from the dining area. They offer free bikes, which we used to explore the area and regret not using them to go to Borobudur, would have been perfect!
