They don't live in the house, but they are very attentive and arrange any meal you need (the mum cooks really good!) any tour or train ticket. The house is in a quiet area, away from any road or noise.

This place was absolutely perfect for my stay in Allepey. Robin and Rino are some of the nicest hosts I have ever met. The location is perfect, close to the bus stop and also the local ferries. The room is clean and spacious with good lighting. Clean bathroom. It is situated right in the middle of a canal and paddy fields. The breakfast was great, Kerala style. Good masala chai too! They even helped organise a canoe trip for me and gave some really good tips on exploring around. It's a short walk away to the backwaters which are perfect during sunset! The breakfast spread was great with local cusine, the swimming pool was relaxing and the features around the resort like the view points were very calming.

You get the feeling of being with family, they take very good care of their guests and help with things such as renting a scooter, rickshaw etc. It's in a new and upcoming location, you can reach the main temple in 10 minutes by scooter or rickshaw.
