Beautiful and functional design, nice common areas and well kept facilities. Location is little out of city Center, but close enough to the nearest train station. Good for people who enjoy quality of sleep and local suburbs. Most importantly the staff is amazing, making your stay exceptional.

Absolutely amazing place and location. The house is very special and made us feel like in the movies about Samurais:) It's a great experience to stay in such unique place. The house is spacious, spotless and very well equipped. Host Yancy is very nice and welcoming. I really recommend to buy green tea from his plantation as it's delicious and fragrant!! We were offered eggs from his hens and tried lemons which is the nicest I've ever had. The views were breathtaking at sunrise and sunset. The whole area is magical, just wish we could stay longer:( Will definitely come back if revisit Japan. Please bare in mind that it's a narrow and twisted drive up, so consider renting small car if you planning to drive in Shikoku mountains.

EkimaehouseSamaru se nachází v destinaci Shimanto-cho. Kaiyodo Hobby Museum Shimanto je 13 km daleko a Monjudo Temple 24 km. Exceptional in every sense! I loved my stay. The host is the nicest owner you could ever meet, so friendly, so willing to help and a good linguist too. I cannot thank him enough for the kind welcome and advice on where to cycle next. The house is much bigger than the photos show with really cool lounging about spaces all over! Much love and care has gone into making the place feel fun and comfortable. Stay as many nights as you can! The local restaurants are excellent and there’s a local supermarket and plenty of sake!

We rented a car at Kochi Ryoma Airport. The guesthouse was conveniently located near the airport and the freeway, making it easy to access our destination, Dogo Onsen. Initially, I was concerned about parking, but the guesthouse was on a wide road, which is important to know when renting a car in Japan. It was simple to maneuver in and out of the parking spaces located behind the house. The guesthouse was in the town of Noichi, where we enjoyed delicious meals at nearby restaurants. Additionally, its central location between my two other destinations, Kochi-shi and Aki-shi, meant that I didn't have to drive a lot in one day. Our host, Kyoko-san, was incredibly friendly and kind. Since it was the off-season, she gave the three of us two rooms, which allowed for a comfortable stay. I slept well during our time there. Unfortunately, I lost a hubcap from the rental car—it's a long story. On our departure morning, Kyoko-san went out of her way to prepare breakfast for my son and me. After saying our goodbyes, Kyoko-san called to inform us that my son had left his passport and charger behind. She kindly brought them all the way to the airport for us. Overall, I felt that the guesthouse was truly a home away from home.

Everyone was so nice and I felt like at home right away. It was very clean and comfortable. The common space is also great for hanging out and I had a fun night with the staff and other guests. Unfortunately I only stayed for one night, but I'll definitely come again and stay much longer!

Guest house 旅人宿ゆるっと se nachází v destinaci Iburi a nabízí sdílený lounge a bar. Pláž Oki Beach je 2,2 km daleko a Kotohira Shrine 8,7 km. I had a good night's rest in this Guest House in Iburi, after a long hiking trek from Shimanto City. The bed was comfortable with plenty of room for my things and the facilities were neat and clean. The shared area had a homely feel to it with free hot drinks provided. Also a bar for Alcohol Drinks. No shops in the immediate area however I believe Dinner and Breakfast can be provided on request (I did not partake). I am doing the Shikoku Henro Pilgrimage and as it turned out, it was the ideal spot from which to visit Temple 38, Kongōfukuji, down the coast to Cape Ashizuri. A long trek there and back the other side to TosaShimuzu (about 15 mins away by bus) was just about doable in a day. By bicycle would definitely be easier/faster as it is relatively flat. The route has stunning Coastal Views and the Temple is impressive. The Guest House owner was friendly and kind and stored my heavy rucksack for the day so that I could travel light. Price was great value too, especially so close after Golden Week.

To stay with the young couple host was great, picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at the bus station each day to do our excursions. Surrounded by farm land & greenery! Are dinner together and chatted in the evenings. Noah the dog is very cute too 😁

We stayed in the guesthouse while cycling around Shikoku. The guesthouse was very close to the beach which was lovely. We stored our bikes just outside the main entry in this small town. The guesthouse was very clean and had laundry facilities. We ate in the restaurant that was part of the guesthouse and had a plentiful meal.

The location is amazing, just outside of Kochi, in the middle of rice fields, where the sound of nature is the one you will hear. The Host is just fantastic, he also type my name like welcome sign, prepared me an amazing breakfast, and the room is huge and price reasonable.
