When we arrived (which was late due to traffic) we were greeted by the enthusiasm of the host, he helped us with parking and was very excited to show us the place. We felt very welcome. There are private bathrooms which you can book to bath with your friends/family, one of the best thing about this little gem in Atami:) I was surprised by the cleanliness and the comfort level here. it’s a newly refurbished building, it has three floors with a spacious living room/common room on the second floor which is shared by all the customers here. The room comes with a standard toilet and a shower and quite spacious overall. The tatami bed is comfy. Other reviews complained about the location, but because we drive we think it is an amazing spot! It’s 3 min drive from the famous shrine, and 5 minute to the ginza where there is lots of restaurants and shops. You can also see the fireworks display in the living room if you come on the right times:) We didn’t get the youthful and energetic host’s name, but thank you so much we had a great time staying!!

Comfortable stay at the Guesthouse. Welcomed by the staff, smooth check-in and explanation of the facility. Clean and comfortable rooms, kitchen, shower room etc. I actually loved the place very much and would book it for my next trip to Takayama.

The place is spotless and the bed is the most comfortable I’ve slept in so far while walking the Kumano Kodo. Plus, right across the street of a real supermarket so great location.

There’s even a Lawson convenience store nearby, making it easy to grab snacks or essentials. 2️⃣ Spotlessly Clean: The room and shared spaces were immaculate, which made my stay very comfortable. It’s clear that the host takes hygiene seriously! 3️⃣ Thoughtful Amenities: I was impressed by how well-stocked the place was—they provided everything from body lotion and makeup remover to deodorizing spray. These little touches made my stay so much more comfortable. 4️⃣ Smooth Unmanned Check-In: The self-check-in system was seamless and hassle-free. I arrived late at night, but the process was quick and easy—no stress at all! Overall, this guest house offers great value with its prime location, cleanliness, and attention to detail. 民泊 二見のおうち se nachází v destinaci Hutami a nabízí zahradu. Oharai-machi se nachází 7,7 km odtud, Svatyně Futamiokitama 2,6 km a Sun Arena 2,8 km. Very authentic Japanese guest house experience with a lovely host. We stayed 3 nights and it allowed us to really explore Ise, Toba and Futamino rocks. Our host lent us bicycles which was fun to go to the rocks. It was very near a supermarket and local good Isekaya for food.

Their network with the local potters is wide which serve as a great resource for guests that wants a real Tokoname ceramic experience. Most of all, their genuine kindness for the wellness of the guest makes the stay one that is unforgettable! Thank you HH2 I’d be looking forward to my next stay. ◡̈ Yanni

The host was super sweet. She will make sure you make the best of your time in Gifu. I didn’t have much of an itinerary so she voluntarily made dinner and brought me to a mountaintop onsen. She will fuss over you like a mom would. I had a mosquito bite and she was so stressed! Her home was also very clean and comfortable. She made a wonderful breakfast for me before I left. This stay was one of the best memories of Japan and I hope to stay here again. Oh and she is very easy to contact with. She speaks minimal English but is very efficient over electronic communications. She also offers to drive you from to and from the station. I really can’t say enough good things!
