We liked Bellrock Lodge and this little village so much, we even extended our stay! :) It is worth staying longer in Kororareka Russell and especially at Bellrock Lodge, so let us tell you why: Bellrock Lodge is situated on a little hill (if you walk, there are a few steep meters) and because of that, you will have the most amazing views from your terrace over the coast. On clear days you will even see as far as Waitangi. The apartment and the terrace are quite spacious, even the bathroom offers more than usual space in rental properties. It is very nice equipped. The garden is beautiful so you also see beautiful garden greenery from the terrace. The hosts Catherine and Stuart are very kind and responded fast via WhatsApp. Their sweet dog Piper was also a great host and excited to offer play time with her favorite football and such :D Catherine and Stuart were always very hospitable, so for instance, if you get in a morning rain like us, getting new towels is easy peasy, just a message/call away ;-) The Lodge offers great amendities: laundry, dryer, DVD Library (great selection, we loved it), CD and Book Library aswell... To top it off, the Whirlpool and BBQ area are great, with superb views also. We loved to enjoy the Spa, especially on rainy days. In addition to that, we highly appreciated how thoughtful everything is equipped, there are umbrellas in the driveway, wineglasses from plastic for the Spa, different chairs (even comfy reading/TV chairs), more than 2 different towel sizes and many more things like that.. We have travelled a lot and Bellrock Lodge is one of our favorites. You nearly forget, that you are at a self-service accomendation because everything is so thoughtfully done. It is worth staying longer, you can experience a lot in the area, walk to the beaches from Bellrock if you want to, get groceries and have great restaurants/cafés in town.

Tiny on Access se nachází v destinaci Kerikeri a nabízí ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm. Opua Forest je 21 km daleko. Absolutely loved staying here , so cozy and warm. The little details make a big difference. It was pouring with rain when we got there and the host pre heated it for us can't thank you enough.

Amazing host, breathtaking view, beach access, kitchen with lovely curated snack and drink assortment, great breakfast, barbecue.

Paihia on the Rise se nachází v destinaci Paihia a nabízí ubytování s patiem a bezplatným Wi-Fi. Paihia Harbour se nachází 3,3 km daleko, Waitangi Treaty Grounds 5,8 km a Haruru Falls 10 km. David and Suz made us feel at home straight away. The accommodation was outstanding, and we had everything we needed for our stay. We couldn't fault anything. I would definitely recommend Paihia on the Rise as a wonderful place to stay. Great value for money, too. Thanks for the fresh fish for dinner, Dave. It was fab!

We got there pretty late and we’re easily able to get in. Bathroom was amazing. Lots of lovely little touches like moisturizer, cookies, coffee, and reading material.

The Pacific Room, Tapeka Point se nachází v destinaci Russell a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou a terasou a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Very comfortable and quiet. Close to the beach and a quick drive to town for some excellent restaurants.

Kaingarua Retreat se nachází v destinaci Kerikeri a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou a neplacené soukromé parkoviště pro hosty, kteří přijedou autem. Spotlessly clean and stylishly decorated. Lovely sunny living area and blackout blinds in the bedroom for a deep sleep. The bed was also comfortable.

Fantail River Lodge se nachází v destinaci Haruru a nabízí zahradu, bezplatné Wi-Fi a neplacené soukromé parkoviště pro hosty, kteří přijedou autem. Although the location was out of town (approximately 10 minutes), for us this was not a problem as we had a vehicle & it was in a very peaceful setting. The bed was extremely comfortable & was a king bed - room very clean & well set out. Our hosts were very accommodating & very friendly.

I don’t know how this accommodation could be any better - it’s location on The Strand, the amazing view of the bay from the patio, the delicious, homemade breakfast delivered to your apartment every day, the most gracious, thougtful host. It was just wonderful. I told my husband, cancel the rest of our roadtrip around the North Island, let’s just stay here. Highly recommend!
