Set in Albufeira, 600 metres from Peneco Beach and 300 metres from the centre, Casa Amarela Guesthouse offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a rooftop pool. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. We absolutely loved our hosts - Fabiana and her husband! They were quick to respond to all my messages pre-arrival, and were always ready to help. When we arrived, Fabiana immediately pulled up the map on her iPad to give us an idea of the area, since we had never been to Albufeira. She was quick to give us extra towels and whatever else we needed, and also provides sunscreen, pool noodles, etc. The shared kitchen was always open, and has a wonderful (free) coffee machine with just about any type of coffee or hot chocolate you might want. She also provides a shelf for each room, if you want to store any snacks, and a shelf in the fridge. The outdoor space is great - complete with comfy bean bag chairs and shade. Fabiana was sweet enough to give us a bottle of wine on our arrival! She even let us do laundry, free of charge, in their machine. There's a drying rack outside if you just need to rinse off some items and hang them to dry. The location is uphill from town, but it was probably only about a 10 minute walk. We did take a Bolt, for a few dollars, to our boat trip leaving from the Marina - since that would have been about a 20-25 minute walk. We were so impressed by the warmth and kindness of our hosts, and would certainly stay there again if we ever come back to Albufeira - but would simply book a larger room!

Very clean, quiet room ( we had our own bathroom) . It was walking distance to restaurants, the marina, old town and shops! The common kitchen area was huge and well appointed with everything you need. Check in and luggage storage was easy- would highly recommend this place!

The property is 12 km from Church of São Lourenço, and within 200 metres of the city centre. the check-in process is very easy. Senhor Gigi sends a lot of very useful information. Very central. Super comfy and warm beds. I loved the decorations with the small details. Would definitely stay there again.

There is a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer in each unit, along with free toiletries. Had a fabulous 3 night stay hear but could have gladly stayed longer. From the happy friendly staff to the sparkling clean rooms it couldn't have been a more welcoming comfortable stay. We loved the airconditioning (!) , balcony, roof top in the evenings, house keeping every day, loan towels, umbrellas and beach chairs - those little extras really made a difference. And all within 2mins walk to the beach lift/stairs, supermarket not too far away and close to old town for restaurants and shopping. Thanks for having us! We'll be back.

From the moment you enter the building you feel every details the owner put to make your stay lovely. There’s kitchen , fridge, they offer towel rental which is great for light traveler like us. You will find hangers shelf outside each room which is definitely helpful for a beach city . The breakfast is great. Fresh healthy and a great variety of choices. The staff are super friendly and answers to our need or questions in a very responsive manner. If I come again to this city I will not hesitate to stay here again!
