It was an amazing experience, we were very happy to be there. I stayed for a weekend with my son. The hotel has everything you need, and we were welcomed with fruits and chocolates. The owners are extraordinary, they helped us with everything. My son's shoes were completely wet, and they kindly lent us a pair. We didn’t arrive by car, so they drove us to all the places we needed to go. They also recommended a great restaurant and even helped us get a table, as it was fully booked. The restaurant was excellent. This was the best hotel experience I’ve had in terms of service. The room is new, the shower is great and the owners offered the best hospitality I’ve experienced. The location was great—quiet, surrounded by trees and forest, and close to the train and Skånes Djurpark. If you have a car, the park is about 20 minutes away. If you don’t, there’s public transport available, and the owner also runs a taxi company and drove us everywhere we needed to go. I better recommend this service, as we came more faster to all places and it was much easier, the price was also very accessible. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the train station, but there are buses, or you can also contact the hotel and the owner can pick you up and drive you wherever you need. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for a great experience!

The space had everything you could need and the location was perfect — close to the train station, and a short walk from town centre! Jafar, the host, was kind and incredibly easy to work with. We would definitely consider staying in this property again if we come back to Ystad!

Stella, the host, was incredibly welcoming and kind. She even took me out to experience the local nightlife and we had some wonderful conversations. She went above and beyond to ensure that I felt comfortable and even escorted me to the train station. The apartment itself was adorned with beautiful artwork, and my room was spacious and equipped with a TV and a safe. The bed was exceptionally comfortable too! I thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Sunset and I plan to return the next time I'm in Malmö. Its central location made it easy for me to navigate the city, and I'm looking forward to staying longer next time to explore more of the city's beauty. 😊

The location couldn't be better on a really charming courtyard, the home is clean, peaceful and unique. Stella is a lovely, kind host who is both very friendly but also respects guest's space. I'm a travel writer and stay in dozens of places and this was one of my favourite experiences!
