A place from the heart – more than just a hostel! This hostel is an absolute dream and truly one of a kind – a heartfelt recommendation! I stopped here while walking the Camino de Santiago and couldn't have found a better place to rest. The owner and his son are incredibly warm-hearted people who genuinely care about their guests. On the day I arrived, there was a nationwide blackout in Portugal – but instead of panic, there was community. They organized a spontaneous outdoor barbecue to make sure everyone had something to eat. The location is great, everything is cozy and well thought out, and the vibe is just amazing – relaxed, welcoming, and full of positive energy. Thank you so much for everything.

The host makes the extra effort to ensure that guests respect each other's space in every aspect, including noise, toilet use, and even fridge space, so we felt quite private and secure although we had to share the kitchen and the bathrooms. Common area was very clean at all times, and there was enough space and toilets for everyone. The kitchen was well-equipped with cutlery and all kinds of spices. The whole place was very tastefully decorated, a good first spot for our trip in Portugal. The host was also very kind to have prepared pastel de nata in our rooms as a welcoming snack. The location is a little bit off from the city centre but it was easy to commute. It is also within walking distance to Casa de Musica and a local market with a lot of food options. We appreciate that it isn't as busy as the centre. Will come back again and also highly recommend to young travellers!

This is the best hostel i have been to. And i have done two interrail trips around Europe, probably visiting at least 30+ hostels. The location is wonderful, everybody in the staff is super nice, they have all the things you need at a good backpacker hostel, great breakfast and great dinners at affordable prices.

    Clean hostel, nice bathrooms. The bunk beds all have curtains so you can make a little nest, and there's a power outlet at every bunk. The backyard terrace is very nice as well.

    It was my second time in this hostel, I would definitely recommend, I like it, clean, has everything you need there, great location, has even small drawers with key under beds for your belongings and it has lovely sitting areas and dinning/breakfast area :)

    Best hostel I’ve ever been to! It is nice, cozy and clean and you will feel like coming home. Luis is the head and heart of the hostel and makes everyone feel very welcomed! You can rent surf boards, wetsuits and skate boards for free ☺️🙌🏼thank you so much!
