The place is beautiful, surrounded by plants, and attracts people who come there to paint. It has a modern feel, and I love everything about it. They serve breakfast in the morning, including boiled eggs, bread, cereals with milk, and bananas. The location is perfect.

IchI travel regularly in bkk and a lot in hostels, Airbnbs, hotels and feel very comfortable in this hostel. I can both work well and sleep here because the beds are comfortable and there is a small mini table. The family that runs the hostel and all the other employees, including cleaning staff, are very friendly and helpful and make a lot of effort to make everyone feel comfortable here. I can choose here how much contact I want with other travellers right now. Travel always rested from here, thanks for everything to everyone 🙏❤️☕️

A solid breakfast in the morning with a nice patio on the canal to enjoy your food. Free bottles of water in the lobby whenever you were coming back or walking out for the day. Super easy check-in and check-out. Recently renovated rooms that were very clean. Exactly what you want from a mid-range hotel in Bangkok.

recently stayed at The Yard Bangkok Hostel, and it was an incredible experience! The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic—relaxed, welcoming, and full of good vibes. The hostel’s location in the Ari neighborhood was so cozy and peaceful, a perfect escape from the city’s hustle and bustle while still being accessible to all the main attractions. What truly made my stay unforgettable were the employees. They were hands-down the best—super friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everyone felt at home. Their genuine hospitality created a sense of community that made meeting other travelers so easy and enjoyable. Whether you’re looking for a serene environment or a chance to connect with amazing people, The Yard is the place to be. I’ll definitely return on my next trip to Bangkok!

Exceptional. Just exceptional. Oh how i love to write and submit this review, folks. What are you looking for? An affordable place, and it should be clean and comfy, right? Well, look no further cuz here you will get that, and some extra benefits on top of that. Wooden floors, traditionally built structures with a modernized look but still retaining its Thai charm and character. People you meet here will be open and welcoming. Family giving you hints on where to go for local food and have fun. Absolutely recommend to stay here if you happen to be in Bangkok for transfer or longer stay. Showers, bathroom, toilets, all perfectly kept in order. Drinking water, coffee, cocoa, tea available for free. Lounge to meet and chill, recreate, share and connect. Thai peeps stayin here as well, and imho that's a statement of appreciation in itself. Enjoy!

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Good location, walkable from Makkasan airport rail link station or easy to get a taxi there. Close to night markets and few 7Eleven shops. Very friendly and helpful staff. In female dormitory the bathroom with toilet is directly in the room, so it is convenient and no need to go to other floors, the sink is on the balcony. Bed is hard but comfy, with your own shelf, light and socket, as well as curtains for privacy and light blocking. The hostel is comfortable and safe, in a quiet street, wifi works well. Would stay again!

Great location and big, clean room with excellent wi fi. It's opposite a lovely park and near transport links. We took airport train from Suvarnabhumi to Phaya Thai and its a 20 minute walk We left on an air con airport bus for Don Muang from Victory Monument, very easy, quick and cheap. Lots of street food nearby and proper Thai neighbourhood feel. Owner was friendly and hostel felt safe.

This was our first stay in Thailand and we were delighted with our room and the facilities. Being a hostel and such good price we didn’t expect much but the room was so lovely, clean and comfortable. Small bathroom but no different to most budget hostels/hotels. It was in a great location, 5 min walk to Kao San road and other attractions but far away enough so that it’s quiet at night. Great little restaurant at the start of the alley to the hostel called KC Homestay, delicious and cheap food.
