The location was wonderful and very close to the beach. The staff were understanding and accommodating as they interacted with this solo traveler and occasionally lit mom. Super-patient staff who went above and beyond helpful. Made me feel welcomed even though I knew the words to all the 80’s songs. If I didn't have a bad knee and a temperamental hip, I would have led a song along and been "dancing to the oldies". I also thought the fans at the head and foot of the bunk beds were genius, since they reduced any possible noise (I heard barely any music from my location).

The place is amazingly cute and really has charm built out of wood. There is lots of communal places to hang out in the shade and hamacas. Plenty of showers and bathrooms. The kitchen is one of the best i"ve seen while traveling: 8 hotplaces and at least 10 pans. And the pans are absolutely not the rotten carcinogenic pans you sometimes find in hostels. The often clean the kitchen so it stays nice and clean. Omar has the beat tips om where to eat or what to do. Of course if you look for AC and pool it might not be your vibe. Bur for backpackers like me it is a dream. I ended up staying a week there. And already want to go back.

I stayed here the night before and after going up to La Guajira. The staff are so kind and helpful and there is a lovely terrace on the top floor.

Dreamer Palomino is located on the beach in Palomino and features an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by gardens and hammocks. We had the best time out this place!!! It was so easy to get to know other guests, and the staff were so welcoming, sweet and helpful. The environment is so nice, and there is a lovely green garden and a nice pool. They arrange activites for you at the hostel, for example river tubing where you go with other guests from the hostel.
