Everyone was amazing and the place was fabulous. A proper little retreat. This place would also be great for a group of friends to book out as it would be like having your own apartment with a lounge and kitchen area. The WiFi was good, they sold 5lt water bottles at reception to save you having to buy little bottles - you could just top up and the price was very reasonable. Mauricio was super friendly and helpful and explained how to visit different locations. The hostel was super clean, the place was cleaned daily. The showers were cold water but it was exactly what was needed in the temperatures (and I never take cold showers) The bus stop by the hostel takes you to the beaches for around $1 each way The hammock chair swings were great in the afternoon when then sun hit the terrace

Providencia is paradise on earth and Jaime is going to make sure that you enjoy it. He moved the whole hostel to a new location on the island because it’s more calm there. It’s called Fresh Water Bay and it lays in the middle of nature and yet you are at the beach in 2 minutes. Everything you need is close by. Jaime helped out where he could. Picked me up at the airport, drove me to my diving school and took me to party during night. Overall, this was one of the coolest experiences during my trip.

Sandy, the administrator, was so sweet and made me feel like at home. AC in my room. Clean space. Kitchenette and private bathroom. If you need laundry or tourist info, Sandy will help you. You can walk to the beach or downtown. No need for a vehicle.
