YHA Ilam Hall Hostel is a National Trust property, and the River Manifold runs through the beautiful grounds. Alton Towers is a 15-minute drive away, and Chatsworth House is a 30-minute drive. Fabulous building in a beautiful area. Incredibly clean throughout the whole hostel. Amazing value for money. Simply perfect.

The majority of rooms at YHA Hartington Hall contain bunk beds. There is also a guest lounge, with Wi-Fi access and a games area. Very friendly service-and we really enjoyed the atmosphere in this nice place .

With free WiFi, this 3-star hostel offers a shared kitchen. Guests can have a drink at the bar. Staff were great. It had a bar and lovley outside seating looking at amazing views. We shall return nearer to some amazing attractions. Building is beautiful.

All guest rooms at the hostel come with a private bathroom and bed linen. Gary was very welcoming and showed us around. We haven't stayed in a YH before but it was super comfy and clean . The food the pub down the hill was Thai and delicious, we took it back and ate outside. We will be back for sure. Beautiful scenery.

I have stayed at all the properties that are run by the lovely Laura

At the hostel, every room comes with a wardrobe. Rooms have a shared bathroom with a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. At Macclesfield Lodge the rooms are equipped with a desk and a flat-screen TV. The host was so attentive, we lost power and didn’t have a mirror and they straight away fixed both issues.
