I had stayed somewhere else and had a hard time so I booked this place and the people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. I got lucky and stayed in the female dorm area and the room was right across the bathroom which was super convenient. The bathroom was amazing and the room I stayed in was very comfortable.

The hostel's location is ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and an abundance of delicious food options just a short walk away. One of the highlights of my stay was the presence of three lovely cats that added a warm, homely touch to the environment. The hostel itself offers great amenities, including a sundeck, a terrace, and a peaceful courtyard where guests can relax. The dorm rooms are thoughtfully designed with curtains, ensuring privacy for each guest. The owner and her family were incredibly friendly and caring, always ready to share stories, offer suggestions, and make sure guests feel at home. The owner, who is also a knowledgeable indigo dyeing teacher, brought a unique cultural aspect to my stay, making it even more memorable. The hostel also provided tea and coffee-making equipment, along with some snacks prepared by the owner. The tiled floors and tasteful decor complemented the overall cozy atmosphere. If you're looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Tainan, this hostel is a fantastic choice.

The staff is super friendly and they try to include guests in activities such as roasting coffee beans. There is a small kitchen where you can cook, a common room if you want to relax or eat, and there is water and tea/coffee available. Even though the breakfast is simple, I really enjoyed it as there are a variety of toppings for the toast.
