In the early 1900s, the area around Seestraße was covered with reeds. To create additional building plots for the residents of Mörbisch, earth and stones were piled up. This house was painstakingly built by the Pahr family in the post-war years. After Mr. Wenzl, Mrs. Pahr's grandson, took over the property, he decided to renovate this traditional Streckhof-house.
In April 2017, the first part of the building was completely renovated. One year later, in March 2018, the second part was completed. During the renovation, great importance was placed on preserving old elements and objects to maintain the building's traditional charm.
In March 2015, we, the Ludwig family, took over the property and immediately fell in love with its style and atmosphere. In keeping with traditions, we aimed to preserve the house's values and maintain its hospitality. For the safety of our guests, we updated the entire electrical system and outlets, and we have many ideas for making the apartment building even more guest-friendly in the future.
We welcome families to the larger two-bedroom apartment and couples who love nature, cycling, culture, and music to the smaller one-bedroom apartment. We wish all our guests a pleasant stay and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
