So why do I even introduce myeslf on this page? I was born and raised in an age of digitalism. Many of you visit Austria since years and I know about this spirit most of you are seeking for, while skiing down fresh powder slopes or jumping into the fresh water of lake Zell. Not only our nature, but also we people who live in this habitat draw this picture of the Austrian Alpine lifestyle. Not that I want to copy this lifestyle, but maybe try to link this offline and online experience, in the most charmant way I can do. Enjoy your holiday. Yours  Vera

Chalet Badia is in the Schüttdorf suburb of Zell am See, If you have a large group we can help - Chalet Naila II is next door and is also run by us! The Chalet was fully renovated in 2017 - in the basement there is a TV / Xbox room and another games room with table football - ideal if you want to keep the kids occupied out of earshot! In addition there is a sauna with shower room and a relaxation area. On the ground floor you'll find an open plan living area with a traditional wood burning stove and kitchen - also a bedroom with a double and single bed and a toilet / shower room. There's a large terrace with outdoor dining furniture and a large barbecue for the warmer months. Upstairs there is a large bedroom with balcony with a double bed and double sofa bed, another bedroom with two double beds and a third bedroom with a double and single bed. There's also a toilet / shower room and a separate bathroom for those needing a soak after a hard day's skiing. In the garage there is a ski rack and boot warmer to make sure the morning starts off with warm toes.. If you are arriving from Salzburg airport you can catch the 260 bus which stops in Zell centre and depending on the time will stop at the Schüttdorf Tischlerhäusl , just at the end of the road...

Chalet Badia is about 150 meters from the main road where you can jump on the bus into Zell or towards Kaprun (900 meters to the new Areitbahn ski lift). Schüttdorf is a quiet area of Zell am See ,the busy nightlife is in the town centre. It's a 20 minute walk into the centre of Zell along the lake, which can be a beautiful start to the evening. You can catch the bus at the end of Brucker Alle (Tischlerhäusl stop) which takes about 5 minutes to the centre. Taxi's are available and inexpensive . 300 meters in the direction of Zell is a stop for the local railway - the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn. This also takes a couple of minutes into Zell center - but can be used for a wonderful trip along the valley to the waterfall at Krimml. In the immediate vicinity of Chalet Badia there is a convenient bakery - a few minutes walk into Schüttdorf gives access to a number of other restaurants and bars as well as a good SPAR mini supermarket. Most of the big supermarkets (and a McDonalds) are around 800 meters away towards Kaprun.
