Our newly renovated cottage in Mariapfarr (Lungau in Salzburg) is now ready for rent! Situated next to a small stream, the house with garden offers 7 beds (+2 extendable beds) and is ideally suited for a family holiday in the countryside. The house itself is equipped with a washing machine, TV (with satellite), microwave, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner and a hair dryer. Toys for children are also available.
I have inherited this house from my grand aunt. Within the last three years the house was completely renovated by me and my husband, so it is now available for holiday guests. As a child I spent a lot of time in this house together with my grand aunt, already at that time I fell in love with this house. During the renovation we made sure to combine old house elements with new modern furnishing details. I’m a mother of identical twin girls who have become 5 years old recently. This year in summer our third child will be born. Children are the most important “thing” in my life - professionally I am an elementary school teacher. Together with my family I live about 2 hours away from the "Huber House", but my parents are locally in Mariapfarr and for cleaning and maintenance of the grounds, we have "staff " set .
Mariapfarr is a tourist village and offers many attractions (castles, adventure parks, museums, ...) in the vicinity. The Lungau region is known as a beautiful hiking area with many mountain lakes! It also offers 4 ski areas that can also be easily reached by public busses. There are four skiing resorts nearby: Fanningberg in Mariapfarr (10 minutes by car), Großeck-Speiereck in Mauterndorf (10 Min), Aineck - Katschberg (15 Min), Obertauern (25 Min). In walking distance to the house are two playgrounds and a small soccer field.
