In summer the surrounding area is ideal for hiking, climbing, and mountain biking. During the school holidays, a varied programme of games and activities is offered to children and teenagers. There are several ski and snowboard schools in Mittelberg. You can use the bus lines in the Kleinwalsertal valley free of charge with the guest card of IFA Alpenrose Hotel.
