Set against the background of the Hohe Tauern Mountains, Hotel Bergkristall is located at 1,200 metres above sea level in the centre of Mallnitz. Completely renovated in 2016, it features a spa area, a restaurant and a bar, and offers free WiFi access. The spa area includes a Finnish sauna, a herbal sauna, 2 infrared benches, and a relaxation room. All rooms at the Bergkristall Hotel include a flat-screen TV, safe, minibar, coffee maker, hairdryer, and bathroom. One free coffee per day is included in the rate and guests find fresh apples for free on every floor. Storage rooms for skis and snowboards, hiking boots and bicycles are available. Free private parking is available. "From beginning of June until beginning of October the Kärnten Card is included in the rate and offers free access to local cable cars, lifts and buses as well as other benefits."
