Property information

The Trattenbachhof Our Trattenbachhof, which is around 500 years old, is located directly by the foot of the Wilder Kaiser. It is still run as a family farm and is home to an Angus breed and horses. In 2020 we opened our newly renovated holiday flat with a modern and cosy standard. The fully equipped flat offers space for 2 people and leaves nothing to be desired on holiday. Our farm is located on the sunny side of Scheffau. The flat has a balcony where you can enjoy our beautiful mountain scenery. The centre of Scheffau is only a few minutes' walk from the Trattenbachhof.Directly opposite is the entrance to the valley station of the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Bixental up to the Brandstadl. The winter cross-country ski trail and several hiking trails start directly at the farm. Whether in summer or winter, hiking / cycling / swimming / mountaineering / skiing / cross-country skiing our traditional farm offers the perfect starting point. Many sights, such as the Hintersteinersee lake or film sets of the Bergdoktor, are in the immediate vicinity and can be reached free of charge with the lake or ski bus and also easily on foot. We are also happy to inform you personally about upcoming events in and around Scheffau.
