Located on 32 acres of oceanfront property on the west coast of King Island, Buttons by the Beach is a secluded off-grid house with unobstructed views of the Southern Ocean and rugged landscape from almost every room.  Perched into a sand dune and protected from the elements, Buttons by the Beach is the perfect place to relax and unwind from the rigours of life in this remote and cosy setting. It is the ideal place for golfers who want to relax after a long day on King Island's magnificent courses, surfers who love watching the waves roll in or for those who just want to get away from it all and feel truly at ease. The property comprises of a fully equipped kitchen, three large bedrooms, two bathrooms and a quiet office (with a sofa bed available on request). The house has two outdoor entertaining areas: one north facing overlooking the ocean and one indoor atrium (protected from the elements), complete with dining table, fireplace, BBQ and vegetable/herb garden (help yourself to any of the vegetables/herbs, season-dependent). The grand 8-seater dining table has hosted many dinner parties with friends. The kitchen has absolutely everything you will need to entertain and the pantry is well-stocked with essentials. The cosy living area is the heart of the home and it is simply magical sitting in there at any time of the day and take in the breathtaking view of the rugged west coast of King Island and the wild Southern Ocean. The gym in the garage is available for those who want to get their sweat on during their stay. There is a squat rack, competition barbell, Olympic weight plates, inclined bench, TRX suspension, and more. Beach towels, fishing rods, a beach tent, surf boards are also available for our guests’ enjoyment at the beach.  Buttons by the Beach is 100% off-grid. The house uses a combination of solar and wind to generate energy.
